I doubt it. They said they are investigating consoles. They've been saying that for about 10 years... I guarantee you the only reason they are even saying that is because Bobby Kotick forced them to because he wants more money. This is confirmation of nothing. They've been talking about consoles since Diablo 2.
If they ever make a "Diablo 3 related project" for console it's going to be some crappy, extremely steamlined spinoff 2 years after Diablo 3 com...
Yeah, this is probably my most anticipated game ever. Poor console kids will never know what they are missing...
Nothing new :(
Exactly!
But, yeah no. I loved the first Dragon Age but it was ugly as fuck, and the second isn't that big of an improvement. It looks more comic-booky than the first, stylistically, but character models look pretty much the same. Seems to be a severe lack of details in the environments though, from what I've seen about the game.
I don't think it'll fail as bad as some people think it will, but I don't think it'll succeed as much as some people think it will either. Overall, it'll probably be somewhat enjoyable but underwhelming. It'll have around a million subs for a year and a half then slow down to about 750k and stay there for a few years.
They are talking this game up so much that it will never live up to the hype of being a Bioware game or a Star Wars game. People will en...
They would sooner die.
Summer 2012. They'll delay it till Spring 2012, then say nothing about the release and pretend they meant to say Summer 2012. It'll release around the same time as StarCraft 2 did last year.
Cursed Crusade actually looks mildly fun and looks like some talent and effort went into making it. First Templar looks like crap, but it's made by a very small developer from Bulgaria so I guess that's to be expected. I almost feel bad for them, like they deserve some support just for trying to make a game. It will do MUCH better if they stick it on Steam for $10-20 bucks than if they decide to release it as a full price release on consoles.
No.
I don't have Kinect, I'm not an idiot. Perhaps you can give me better lessons on how to be one. I'm guessing, making asinine assumptions based on pulling "facts" out of your ass is step one, such as, anyone who doesn't like your precious Killzone 3 (lul @ your name, fucking fanboys) HAS to be a 360 fanboy, right?! I mean, how could ANYONE hate a 4 hour linear game that got a ton of 7/10s for having a shitty story and being nothing special?! Gee, maybe because it'...
Dragon Age 2 looks like crap. I'm not seeing the HUGE graphical improvement over the first. It looks pretty much exactly like the first, but with smoother animations. Not saying the game will be bad though, but it really doesn't look like anything special. The improvements might be big from the first to the second on console though I guess, but on PC they don't like that different. Even the first Witcher looked better than Dragon Age 2.
MGS4 came out in 2008, Peacewalker in 2010, Rising in 2011 and this new game will be 2012... 4 games in 5 years, ohemgee that's COMPLETELY different than 5 games in 5 years! That's not milking the series at all, ESPECIALLY when they said MGS4 was going to be the last game of the series! Say what you will about Peacewalker, Kojima intended it to be a full-fledged MGS game, so in his eyes, it WAS a major game in the franchise.
Also, have you been following me on all the...
I've had a PS3 since 2006...in fact, I bought a second one because my 60gb broke.
I think you should stop assuming everyone is a 360 fanboy just because...actually, I honestly don't know what that "PS3" comment was in reference to. That didn't even make sense.
I love the Metal Gear series, but there is no need to keep making more. Snake's story is over but Kojima just can't leave it dead. Rising isn't even out yet and they ar...
This is good as they are focusing on more environmental puzzles, etc, to increase the difficulty, not just making every monster kill you in one hit and making it nearly impossible to avoid being hit, or whatever. I love the idea of challenging games you actually have to work at to be, not like most games these days that basically play and win the game for you just so you can experience their lackluster story.
Milk that cash cow.
How is he bashing the game? He said:
"I am thrilled for a new entry into the Elder Scrolls series."
and
"If Bethesda continues with their steady stream of fan-service, affirming information up until release, they could finally restore my faith in their ability to balance sales figures and crowd pleasing with rewarding those of us who prefer the old-school RPG."
Did you even read the article?
From reading these comments, no one actually read the article (which is pretty normal here, actually).
All of his points are very valid in regards to the comparison between Morrowind and Oblivion. Oblivion is much more of a "console game" than Morrowind (even though Morrowind was on console) and lacks the depth that Morrowind had. In his personal opinion, he liked that factor less. A lot of people liked it more. He is suggesting that Skyrim is to follow in that pat...
Yeah, cause we all know, no matter how shitty the game may be, graphics make the game awesome since they are all that matters...
I think it's sickening the impact Facebook has had on, well, the world. So sick of shit like this. Either show us the screenshots or don't. What does it matter how many people use Facebook and "like" it? What does it accomplish? You don't get any money for it, all it does is inflate your company-wide ego. Get over yourself. You know people like your game and tons of them will buy it. Forcing them to click some stupid thing on some stupid website, begging for treats, is a...
The idea is good but now everyone is just trying to cash in by releasing every mediocre PS2 game they can think of. Not saying that some haven't been good, but some of the upcoming ones they've announced, like, honestly, who cares about those games anymore? And who is going to pay $40+ for them? I'm sure Sony planned this long ago when they got rid of backwards compatibility. Seems like a really shady business practice. "Hey guys, let's remove a feature from our consoles ...
