Perhaps it's not the model that's broken, perhaps its your games. Maybe if Cryptic made a decent game, people would actually play it...

I say piracy makes up for way less numbers than rentals and resales of console game. For every time someone rents a game or buys it used from GameStop, that is an instance of someone playing a game without the developer seeing a cent. How is this any better than piracy? Oh right, cause some big heartless corporation gets a ton of money they did NOTHING to earn. Making money off of someone's hard while they don't see a cent of it is somehow BETTER than people sharing a game for free. ...

let x be average score
x = 5
7 > 5
∴ 7 > average

let y be low score
5 > y
7 > 5
∴ 7 ≠ low score, 7 > low score

Indie games making money? Uh oh... Activision is going to swoop in and buy the devs, and next year we'll be playing World of Minecraft with a $15 monthly fee with no semblance of sandbox gameplay.

Sweet, this means a GTA game every year! And it'll only be four hours long, so it wont be as daunting as the big open world games of the past. Can't wait!

Dear EA, I'm too poor to afford your games. I can't get a job because I am deemed mentally unfit to work, and the government doesn't give me enough money to cover my gaming needs. Please send me free games.

Sigh, I wish people were inspired by games that, you know, were the slightest bit innovative. "Hey guys, I'm really inspired by a generic linear third person shooter!" I don't really understand what there is to be inspired by, exactly. Have you never played a third person shooter before, Peter? They're pretty much all the same. The shooting and platforming mechanics have been around for at least a decade, ya know...

Ahh video games...the only place where you don't actually have to be a "hot girl" to be considered a hot girl.

Bleach blonde bimbo from Cali #7321823812. OH HAY GUYZ I'M TOO UGLY TO GET THE ATTENTION I CRAVE IN ANY OTHER PLACE SO I'LL PLAY GAMES AND POST ON GAMES SITES SO EVERYBODY WILL PAY ATTENTION TO ME!

Whatever, if you're a gamer, kudos to you, but if you prance around like a slut and seek out attention simply because you'r...

I'm interested in the campaign. The demo was kinda disappointing though...not so much because of the gameplay but because of the level itself. I just don't particularly care about "points arenas" and such.

"Many might associate Bethesda Game Studios with the irradiated wastes of Fallout" that made me lol. The last Elder Scrolls game came out not even 5 years ago, in this generation. Do people honestly already forget Oblivion?

This game is going to be able to run well on a wide range of PCs, I wouldn't worry too much. They said they are aiming for 6+ year old machines. They even said in the PAX demos last year that the game was running on max settings on mid-range machines. They don't want only high end machines to be able to max out settings.

The reason that it looks so intimidating is simply because of the art style. They've managed to make the art look so good that graphically, it tr...
