So true... All games should support dedicated servers. At least big house games from EA and Activision all should have DS... They earn millions (billions in AVs case) and still don't support the most important thing..
Firstly, during the initial sequence, your jaw will drop, then you will ROFL hearing some really humorous liners and then you mind will blow up as the game unfolds.... Hopefully something will be left for the multi-player...
Seriously, who in their right mind will be tired off making more than a billion dollars once every 2 years? I would even break rocks in a prison round the clock if someone gave me that much money.
Nice score.... This game looks great. Just remove the repetitiveness from the first game and I am sold... So far this game seems to do exactly that. Also, the games graphics look good.

The one major advantage the wand has over Natal is Backward compatibility... It matters a lot in this case... Firstly, it doesn't need a 'KILLER APP' at launch to grab much attention since Sony could just make games like KZ2 or UC2 compatible with it and just rerelease it bundled....
The next main point is accuracy and physical buttons.... How on earth do you play a shooter with Natal is beyond me. And judging the fact that 90% of 360 owners are shooter fans, this thing might get...
I like Gears frankly speaking... It was the best TPS when it came out, but UC1 changed everything for me... If someone plays Gears for the 1st time without ever playing UC1, then one feels 'ya thats a real bad@ss game', but after playing UC1 and 2 (2 especially), one knows what REAL attention to detail means.. I mean, everything from the dialogs to the presentation is top notch.. You even find an odd pipe at some corner which you would have not looked at otherwise polished to realism.

@above: I agree with the first part about graphics taking a hit due to the camera, but disagree with the close on camera idea..... That would really kill the game IMO. Fighting with 50 people on screen along with few Cyclopes cannot be attained with such a camera (also a Titan wrecking in the back). Such a TP camera only works for shooter and you see the limits when someone really gets close to you in TPS games... Also, such a camera would only force a frontal attack and you won't see someone...
From the recent previews I read (which sadly didn't make it to the front N4G page), the TGS demo shown is a better built than E3.. So much so that one of the author told that the recent one had better textures and more realistic blood and looked far better... I have no doubt in my mind that GOW3 final built will even give UC2 a run for it's money....
And MAN the demo is awesome... It more fluid and the lighting is impeccable.... Can't wait.
I personally loved the second one more than 1 apart from the last boss fight (one with Zeus)... I personally felt that the Aries battle was truly epic, but I loved every other aspect of the 2nd one.... And boy the 3rd one looks like it will leave the first 2 in the dust... Everything from the titans to the environment are epic....
I just hope the game is at least 12-15 hours long... That would be awesome.
@dchal... If you are saying that the next gen should only have 1 console, then sadly I don't agree with such an idea... competition increases the quality from both sides.... If either of the 2 decide to fall out of this industry, then sadly, next gen will be ruled by casual gamers (especially now that everyone has joined the motion control bandwagon) and I will probably move on to full time PC gaming.

Um do you really know that the original Xbox lost 3.3 billion and the current one is still down 3 billion???? It will just take M$ 2 console gen just to recuperate the looses and level up. And seriously people don't look at short term gains, but look at long term profit... Even if PS3 lives for 10 years, then too it will earn...
128K is not bad at all for the PS3 even after the Wii had the price drop, it couldn't outsell the PS3 so that shows the sign of what to expect in the future.... 15K for 360 in 1 month bad bad bad... Outsold by more than 100K lol.
In terms of vivid quality, PS3 trumps the 360 on all parts.... Games like LBP brought a new genre in itself, Killzone 2 set a new bar in FPS games with best graphics and intense gameplay, MGS4 brought in a new cinematic experience.... AND.... UNCHARTED 2 !!!!!! Do you really want me to go in this???? This game alone rapes any 360 game ever released....
If you want to judge a company pushing the boundaries, then just look at their catalog and point out the number of new IPs availa...
Apart from bandwidth issues, there are also problems with download caps at many places.... I personally have a 30GB/month download limit on my connection... I hardly even use it (apart from gaming online and downloading demos and stuff), but when full fledge games download start, expect few games to be more than 25-30 GB (aka PS3 exclusives or whatever is available by then)...
Plus, you can't share it with a friend or resell it, can't buy used games and get some bucks back if th...
If Nintendo adopts Blu-Ray, then it would be a real boost for Blu-Ray and even M$ eventually would have to incorporate it in their next Xbox.. Either ways, if this thing lands late next year, then M$ needs to seriously consider rescheduling Natal release date cause if the prices are same, then the casual audience will migrate to Wii 2 more... That could be a serious blow to M$. Still a rumor.
Boy the quality of that AC2 video sucks.. So blue. Was it why you felt the game doesn't look good, since from all the videos I have seen and previews I have read, all show that the game is really good looking than it's predecessor.
As far as GOW goes, what can I say... March 10 can't come soon enough.

Crap no ME2 footage... But ...
The first game tried to be a jack of all trades, but could only master a few (fluid climbing mechanism is one of them) aspects and got really repetitive after sometime. Besides that, it was really an ambitious go by the devs and I respect them for that... Thankfully, AC2 is looking much better than 1 (not only graphically, but even in gameplay and VENICE!!!!!).... I also love the art style of the game and boy the game looks gorgeous.
Frankly speaking, I am more hyped for this gam...
