Secondly, I own a Hitachi 42" Plasma capable of producing Full HD, ya it's a year old, but it produces great color and suffices my gaming needs. It's just me, but I prefer Plasmas over LCDs cause I find most LCDs have ghosting and high response time.

This is what I hate about these sites comparing both versions. they don't fukin try to adjust the settings and start comparing stuff out of the box. Don't these guys know that their comparison will probably be taken as standard to decide which version is better.. The least they can do is make some freaking settings changes to see if that affects the performance or not.

They knew it was the biggest game and will sell millions on the first day, then too their game craps out at launch with requirement of 2 patches in 24 hours. It's a prequel to Halo 1 , how can it end all? It's in fact the starting of Halo.. It's the end of Bungie's adventure with Halo (at least till they miss those sales)... If someone even remotely thought that M$ was gonna not publish another Halo title, then one is kidding himself.... I am actually 'Shocked' this says next gen cause I am pretty sure we will see 1-2 more Halo after Reach on the 360...

Get over yourself, I have seen the colors actually look darker when you put it on Full RGB on my Plasma.. Hell I even saw MW2 and the changing from Limited to Full RGB makes the pale colors look darker like the 360 version. If you are still hanging on that LOT comparison, then sadly you are in denial cause this comparison is more legit....
Besides I personally feel that the lighting in the PS3 version is a tad bit better and I hate the bloom and haze in some of those 360 shots.....
@Solijah... i won't be even surprised if they gave all the reviewers a prestige edition (one with the NV goggles)... This always happens with huge games. It's a milder form of bribery you can say....

It all looks well and good if one takes off the fanboy googles. The simple answer to all these comparisons is just for hits. Who doesn't want to see probably the biggest game of the year runs better on which console.. Turning on the RGB and Super white affects the performance most of the times. It's a shame that most comparers don't turn on the feature before comparing..

Most 360 fans love FPS...
MW2 = FPS (earned Godly status in 360 community after Kotick threatens to ditch PS3... An enemy of an enemy = a friend) + MS deciding to have Ad campaign with AV and lastly the higher Instal base + Hardly any good exclusive in recent time.....
Just look at the demographics of FPS sales... Most come from America and that is the place where the 360 is around 8-9 million ahead OF COURSE it's gonna outsell the PS3 version....
The main fact remains that even if Sony is following XBL, it is giving the features for Free... Ya I still don't give a sh!t about these features, but I know M$ just lost one bragging right (2 actually Netflix and now this and soon to be X game chat) that they brag every time someone asks them 'why XBL charges when PSN offers similar features'.
