If you ask me, even an Open world game like Assassin's Creed 2 looks better than AW, that too after they had to cut down the open world aspects to make it linear.. Halo Reach reaching UC2 graphics is IMPOSSIBLE... First it has to 'REACH' HD graphics (720), then it has to 'REACH' the benchmark of FPS graphics on a console which is Killzone 2.... And then it has to 'REACH' for Uncharted 2 graphics.. Who knows, by then GOW3 or GT5 or Heavy Rain might already have taken the podium from UC2..

This gen Sony seems to be targeting the mature audience more... Games like Heavy Rain, GOW3, TLG all seem to have a mature story telling coat over them. I feel a majority of this is due to the 360. Why do you guys always ditch the Mac buyers as ignorant nerds? I use it at my school everyday and am happy with it and I ain't no nerd. I just like the design better and wanted a change from the usual Windows. I still use XP (now will upgrade to 7) for gaming and love it for that, but from a user stand point, I like the Mac OS stability and security better. Does that make me an Apple fanboy? NO, but it really helps me in better editing and stuff. Just stop the BS already.. Both OSes are great...
People keep making this stupid comparisons but forget the fact that PS3 is outselling the 360 in Europe and it is humiliating the 360 in Japan.. Even if PS3 sells on par with the 360 in America, eventually the PS3 wins on monthly basis throughout the world.

From what I have used, 7 seems solid. I don't know, but the OS has a Mac kind robust feel and it doesn't hog resources like Vista. The only problem as mentioned are the different SKUs and that is the thing I love in Macs One SKU only, be it a business man wanting the best softwares or a student looking for basic needs, everyone should be on par IMO.
Anyways, it's better than Vista which is all I care.
Last I checked UC2 sold more than 800K in the first week. Ya it's not Halo numbers, but if you tell me that is not impressive, then frankly you really have some unreasonable standards. And besides Halo and Gears, what 360 exclusive franchise has sold reasonably well? All I can think of is Forza 2 and that too it was bundled like crazy.. Similar is the case with PS3 exclusives with big names like GT5 (Demo outsold Forza 2) and MGS4 selling loads... This will also be the case with GOW3 and GT5 ...

I can pretty much bet with anyone that PS3 will win the sales war this Christmas. America will probably be a tie, but worldwide, PS3 will gain a lead overall (especially after it will rape the 360 naked in Japan when FF13 lands). It's a sad thing that journalists make America sound as the entire world.
I bet on GOW3 and Heavy Rain to push boundaries like UC2 did, which is not only in graphics, but amount of things on screen (implies for GOW3) and just the detailing of environment and gameplay. Crysis 2 also will be a good bet and I look forward to see how the console versions pan out (Crysis 2 on PC already can be tagged as the best looking game without even seeing any gameplay... 1st one still hasn't been dethroned).

I dunno guys... I mean piracy really affected the sales. I can count 10 people now that I know bought the game pirated (especially the 2nd one) since the next gen had started and people spent more on those games or gathered money to buy a PS3 or 360.. And last gen showed that even though the install base was more than 100 million, games hardly sold more than 2-3 million.
Also, a lot of people were hyped about the game, but never played it, which is a similar case with games like ...
Someone with half a brain would rather beg God for a middle spec PC to run half of those games....
The only ones I like are the Gears and Mass Effect 2... I will get SC:C and Alan Wake later on PC when they eventually land on it. Even L4D2 if it's good. 360 can keep Halo and Forza with it's self cause I have better substitutes on the PS3... Never really played Crackdown, so won't comment on that and Shadow Complex!!!!! Yup, pretty much spot on... I liked the 1st game more compared to 2... Not that 2 was bad or something, but 1st one had a much better story compared to 2. I don't have much complain about the online aspect and co-op as it was good, but the main problem was the single player campaign.. You are in a war where you are fighting against aliens, but it didn't feel as if you were making any difference in saving the world.. Frankly the game deserves more sales cause it was really one of the best FPS I have played this gen.
Everything from graphics to 32 player polished multi-player was truly something that pushed boundaries. But there was really so much negative media as if people wanted it to fail or something. They took the new weighty controls as something bad and really ripped the thing to the point where even GG had to send in a high precision patch to suffice the outcry.... Seems floaty COD a...
