It seems to me that every family in Japan has bought a Wii and now are buying them either just to check out if there is something new added in it or else for gifting it during Xmas. The kids in Japan who get a Wii from their Grandmas might be saying " Aww not a 5th Wii!!!!"

All games are a rip off of each other.. GOW takes some elements of DMC and bettered it. Beyonetta is a DMC with a chick... Dante's Inferno is a GOW Rip off and so is Darksiders.... Seriously this is getting stupider by the minute.
Here is the fact. 5 years from now when one will look back at this gen ending, no one is gonna remember Beyonetta no matter how good it is. GOW will still be regarded as the God of Hack and Slash genre cause well, it's been 2 games till now and are stil...

I think that core is reserved for the OS and XBM stuff. Would be cool if they did open, but will be useless to most devs apart from first party since most games don't even use more than 2. Shame when you see so much potential go down the drain. Just make my blood boil that we still get half as@ ports for games like Beyonetta and Ghost Busters when the power under the hood can even put decent gaming rigs at shame...

I would really love to see this technique implemented by PS3 first party devs... I couldn't see much jaggies in KZ2 or UC2, but still if this is possible, then the images will look a lot more sharper and the textures won't take a hit. The real surprise part is a third party dev cracked it before Naughty Dog or Guerilla Games o_0
Besides, isn't AA the most taxing on GPU? If this is implemented, then a lot of work load might be taken off the GPU leaving in potential to cramp in mo...

That is why people should take the tech demos of CE3 with a pinch of salt... The demo showed phenomenal graphics for consoles, I admit (even beating UC2 and KZ2), but realistically speaking, the games didn't even run at a constant 20FPS + without any AI and absolutely nothing but just you roaming around.
Tech demos are always like these where the frame rates are cut down considerably and all people go hooo haa when they see it, but the final product disappoints. Not saying CE3 w...

@Soldier one... That argument is incorrect.. Ya PSP has a LBP, but it's not the same PS3 version... In short, both are different games (in terms of content). PSP even has Killzone and Resistance, but that doesn't mean they are the same, hell Resistance on PSP is a TPS.
Here on the PC and 360, we get the SAME version content wise leaving aside superior graphics on the PC. Hell, PC also gets free DLCs so thats extra content. like mods (L4D2 is perfect example).

I only own a PS3.... I play L4D2 WITHOUT a 360. If it were a 360 exclusive, then logically playing it without a 360 isn't possible... This violates the definition of the term EXCLUSIVE.... Hence by contradiction L4D2 IS NOT a 360 EXCLUSIVE.....
You can say it's exclusive to you cause you only own a 360, but I can play it on my PC without buying the 360. That is the same reason we don't call FF14 a PS3 EXCLUSIVE cause it's also available on the PC...

So true, AC2 is the second best game I have played this year tied up with KZ2 and after Uncharted 2. The game has improved so much from the previous game. MW2 will get awards from most sites, but IMO AC2 sweeps the best multi-plat category.... Just see how much AC2 has improved over 1 and compare it to MW2... AC2 has better graphics, better gameplay and better+longer story... Sadly MW2 fails in all the same departments.
Bad list... KZ2 deserves at least to be in the top 3 games. I personally would place it after UC2.... No AC2? No Infamous? MW2 should go down the list seriously, it's all hype people. Not a big racing fan, but even Forza 3 should feature as it was the best 360 exclusive this year....
Too many GOW clones out next year. I pity most of these games, cause many will get over shadowed (by the PS3 crowd) who will jump on GOW3 over these games. Especially with early 2010 over loaded with massive titles like GOW3, GT5, ME2, SC:C, Heavy Rain, MAG, Alan Wake..... List goes on.

Price is one factor, but the major factor is the absence of UMB in it and so it's virtually useless for a PSP owner to go out and buy a PSP GO.
Overall Sony must be concerned with the entire PSP sales, which is doing quiet well (not DS numbers, but still holding it's own). But Nintendo is in a league of it's own.... Selling like hot cakes.
