@Above... You compare KZ2 in game to some in engine cut scene shown... way to go. Why not I compare those GT5 in engine videos they showed off of Ferrari and then say how realistic PS3 games look. And please, KZ2 already is trumped on the PS3 by a game called UC2 and games like Heavy Rain and GOW3 already are on UC2s back. 360 WILL always play catch with PS3 with PS3 games trumping each other in the visual department. By the time Reach comes out, KZ2 will be nearly 2 years old and probably KZ...
@Stanlee... You must hate every single FPS apart from the first few as every FPS 'BORROWS' the good stuff. If KZ2 was generic what do you call Halo and MW2... What's so ORIGINAL about them? KZ2 at least took some ideas like Cover mechanism (although was seen before, KZ2 nailed it in FPS mode).

What if it even does? Sony will probably show some footage of KZ3 at next E3 which will blow any current game out of the water.... Besides, I personally feel next year 3 games will WOW us in graphics (talking about confirmed ones) .... Heavy Rain (the character models blow away anything seen on a console till date), GOW3 (especially hyped after all the media personelle including HHG came out shocked when they saw the footage and were speechless....) and Crysis 2 (well it's Crysis).
Yup Hater even I am not sure about VGZ numbers, but history has shown that they always give low numbers for PS3 and so if that holds true, then the gap might be more than 400K.... But still I think 400K is a little bit too much... I am guessing somewhere around 200-300K in November, but can't really tell what figures are true....
December is all PS3 man, with FF13 releasing in Japan, expect complete console ownage (includes Wii) in Japan and am thinking the MW2 and Banners boost...
Lol VGZ claims PS3 ahead of the 360 by 140K in December (the first week only), so not far fetched... Must give M$ a clap man... Boy I am going through Rikitatsu's comment history and the only thing I can see are the comments on how GOW3 sucks and how Beyonetta is infinitely better than it (like even here below).

@Commodore... 2 million in 2 months not bad for any game man. Ya it's not Halo or GT numbers, but still if any games breaks the 1 million mark means the devs have more than broken even.... I understand your argument, but if you look at the dynamics of the market, apart from a selected few games like Halo, MGS, Gears, GT... None sell over the 3-4 million mark.
People will always buy games if they are in their 3rd or 4th iteration... MGS sells, GT sells for the same even Halo... G...

More GOW3 bashing.. Wow. Having played DI, I must say it's a good game and I intend to buy it when the final version comes out, but comparing it to GOW3 is unfair on DI.... The graphics aren't even close to GOW3 Demo and judging by what HHG said about the new vids, GOW3 seems to take the graphics again a notch further (I know it's HHG, but to give him some credit, he does gets stuff right sometime).... The combat felt like GOW only a little bit sluggish in dodging, but overall a nice game... ...

Yup, Wii pretty much has messed things up for a lot of studios... 3rd party don't sell well on the Wii... But PS3 still has been the most profitable platform for EA his year... Might not have been the numbers EA was expecting at start of the gen (hoping PS3 would be the current Wii), but still the smallest user base is producing highest revenue... things can only get better from here on.
This might primarily be to lure the crowd who thinks this is a cheap GOW rip off. EA really ants to shrug off that image from this game and I am happy they are at least concerned about it. I am willing to give DI a try out if it turns out to be really good, but I feel I will have to give this one of miss or rent it with all the huge games coming in early 2010....
EA probably chose the worse time to release DI when nearly 3 games of the same genre are landing in the 3 months time...
