I thought they mentioned how someone could use Google to find information about Sony PSN infrastructure (assuming the one that went down, old one) to try to get in. They definitely need to work on the Sony websites though.

True, I'm gonna see if GOW3 has finally come down.

"According to *independent price tracking blog Video Game Price Charts*, the resale value of the ten most popular online titles on the PlayStation 3 has dropped by an average of 7.4 per cent in the US since PSN first went down on 20th April. In comparison, the same ten titles saw a small 0.7 per cent increase on Xbox 360."

OMG!

@ Emerge That's funny *looks at submission history as well as comment history.*

All of your submission have been on that and every other article you commented on so far has been about how much Sony fails, ho...

True, and how do they know, the PSN isn't even up yet.

Edge were making out like this was worldwide. Didn't know it was just for the UK.

I remember when Rockstar announced that San Andreas's main character would be black and the outraged that followed afterwards (Idk if it was everywhere but the gamespot forum were blowing with hate/complaints). Funny thinking back now since it's considered to be the best GTA game by some folks. But yeah, I thought we were past the whole "being black" in video games thing. Why should race matter anyway?

Edit: The whole IGN article did seem a bit weird, it...

That's just as bad as the "but the videogames made me kill him" excuse people use. You're in control of whatever you do, don't blame others.

Right now, I don't think anybody is safe. AnonOp's live and functioning site is going wild. The old and new anon group are insulting/hacking each other like crazy and the new anon groups are splintering off and attacking third party developer sites now (Eidos, Deus Ex: Human Revolution. 60,000 accounts stolen). Kinda weird that they would attack Eidos, that game is getting perks on the Xbox360.

True, Halo/COD kids are coming up with colorful language and derogatory slang that you have to look up nowadays. The PS3 community weren't that bad back then but now it's getting really bad since more people are buying PS3s. Anonymous+Internet= Douchebag

Wait, but isn't Eidos a third party developer group as well as the fact that Microsoft are getting perks in their version of Deus Ex:Human Revolution? But I kinda agree, they have been going soft on Microsoft.

I agree with the article. Feels like hackers are attacking the gaming industry as a whole now with their recent hacking of official video game sites (Eidos) and threats to game developers.

5526d ago 20 agree2 disagreeView comment

Ok, why are hackers hacking video game sites and threaten developers now? Feels like they're going through with their war with attacking the gaming industry as a whole (in their supposed privacy war).

True, also I wonder if MS follows Facebook practices...

Oh ok, parts of the dashboard were hacked lol (Scrolling information was edited with nasty remarks as well as other parts flaunting in writing that the hacker was in control), that one account was the "Xbox Live Director's" account and it was hacked through Xbox Live. According to the articles, so much stuff was changed and bought on his Live account that weekend before they finally got his account back again. This can happen to any company.

Edit: @ disagrees,...

Couldn't happen to MS's Xbox360? Didn't Major Nelson account as well as the whole dashboard get hacked before? I think maybe the hackers should target Live to wake a few folks up that this can happen to any company. Can't believe the folks above actually think Apple and Microsoft can't be hacked lol.

Edit: @ disagrees Now Fox admits it. @ below

Proof

I don't have the money to buy an Xbox360 and if I did, I still probably wouldn't with the way Microsoft has been pushing the motion control gaming (not too interesting in motion control gaming). I guess I'm just gonna wait for the PSN to return this week.

Edit: Lol @ the disagrees for me not buying an 360. @ below, I see.

Edit: Whoops, my bad. JMorgan. It was several.
