I can't decide what to do.. I could buy RDR just for Zombies.. But i dunnoooo if I want to play the actual game, I didn't like GTA IV that much since it was all gritty and realistic.. and RDR looks just as gritty and realistic + cowboys. So.. I dunno.

If you love so-bad-it's-amazing kind of movies, with creepy shizz and horribly funny cutscenes.. Then, it's def worth the $20.
I think it would be pretty fantastic.
The 90s were low when i checked out metacritic, the vast majority were 80s, and then one mid 70, one 60. That's it. How is that mixed? And even the 70 and the 60 were praising the game.
On your stupid nut analogy - It's more like if they had a bag of peanuts, and two walnuts snuck in by accident. Plus, I don't know what brand mixed nuts you buy, but that's a pretty shitty deal that you're getting.
But..... this is RB. They've always done this nonsense. The disc comes with so many songs though, and a buttload of new features, and a whole new career. It's kind of hard to cry foul.
So, meh. I don't really care. If I want those songs, I'll buy them, if I do not want those songs, then I won't.
I hate him, I literally refuse to click on anything Destructoid anymore. Such a tool.
A few 90s, a bunch of 80s, and then a couple 70s, one 60, one 55(Destructoid, so I'd throw that one out, anyways.) An 80 on the metascore is pretttty decent.
And if you read the reviews, even the bad-ish ones have good things to say. They were just disappointed because some of the great ideas weren't fully realized. Which is what a lot of the reviews are saying. Best Fable yet, but it has issues that bring it down, and it could have been a masterpiece.
And some people still loved the game, especially people who just love Star Wars. We'll see how the rest of the reviews stack up, I guess.
And then I still won't care, especially if the story is decent, like the last oneee.
Both GH and RB have a strong following of the super hardcore, who dedicate their lives to the game, and play 8+ hours a day just leaderboard whoring.
It's all about how they are played. RB3 or GH can both be treated as casual party games, or they can be taken much more seriously. They don't consider themselves great guitar players, but they do consider themselves RB / GH gods. Which, is obviously different, but I think it's awesome.

GH is really no better than RB3. It's all about the people that play the game. There is a huge group of people that are uber serious about both GH & RB and play them hardcore and dedicate all their time to them. Like, GuitarHeroPhenom or NationalSniper or the bajillion others that are amazing at the games.
RB3 is giving more options, and actually growing on the genre, instead of staying stagnant like the GH franchise. You really can't call that the worst music gam...
I'll just get the core game for a whiiiiile, and then I'll probably pick up the keyboard :D
I don't like Activision, and I disagree with the vast majority of things they do.
But, I'm not going to cry foul for them releasing DLC. I can just not buy it, and be fine. I'm crossing my fingers that they stick to Treyarch's pricing of map packs in the past, the 800 points, though, since I very well might have to buy them this time around.. I'm a zombie addict.
So many devs have DLC. If I love the game enough that I feel it warrants buy...

They shouldn't even bother having a release date. Just randomly ship them out. No one can believe a street date that they put out anyways. They've proven that time and again.
really really really want from Rock Band is better effin hyperspeed. Like. That's it. Yay for lots of features, and super yay for having the capability to teach someone keyboard. Really, no sarcasm. Yay for those things.
All I want is just a more fleshed out breakneck speed, like GH's . That's it. Please. Thanks.
