Just sayin'.
"I WOULDN'T PLAY BLACK OPS EVEN IF IT WERE FREE.
... except I keep playing it. "
changed a heck of a lot. Maybe you should look into it. It's not just a keyboard added in and a pro mode hastily thrown together. If you take the game seriously, it literally has the stepping stones for teaching you guitar or keyboard.
Plus, the amount of dedication and effort that went into the game is really awesome. I can see how if someone puts serious time into it, they could really fall in love with Rock Band and give it a perfect score.
It was very much deserved.
Why don't you actually research stuff before bringing it up like it's evidence?
With regards to the McDonalds coffee case :
You do realize that the "old lady who got millions for spilling coffee on herself" received THIRD degree burns on her lady-parts, yes? It was actually 6% of her body. McDonalds brews their coffee hotter than their competitions, hot enough to give someone 3rd degree burns, and gave no warning whatsoever.
I'm a little bummed. But, I really figured it was going to happen.
I love how epic & adorable Valve is.
How could it ever be outdated, honestly? As long as there is someone pumping new ideas and innovate it in some way, then it'll be fine.
And has been since I saw the motionscan feature in gameInformer, whenever that article ran. I am so very, very excited.
I played Rez. It was admittedly pretty snazzy. But I would not buy Kinect for a different version of Rez, even if it looks super pretty.. I'm waiting for an actual CORE game and for proof that Kinect will be able to handle it. 'Til then, no thanks.
But, Child of Eden is the only core-ish game that I could honestly think of for Kinect.
But.. I guess when I'm sitting someplace not in my house, I always find myself reading a book instead.
Maybe not so much with the PS3, but its definitely rampant on the DS, fersure. So that's not much of an argument.
I had a PSP for a while. I loved it. But, handheld systems never seem keep my attention.
There have been a few games on handhelds that kept my attention though. Kirby Tilt n Tumble for GBC, Patapon for PSP, and the Ace Attorney series for DS. That's .. it.
I find Fable more lighthearted and less serious than a game like Dragon Age Origins. They're really completely different. The only similarity I really see between them is that they're both considered RPGs..
Why would you buy a piece of hardware before there has been any proof whatsoever showing that it will be used for core games or .. really any game with any amount of substance?
I know someone could very well say "DANIELLE. WHAT EVER ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! CHILD OF EDEN LOOKS AWESOME."
To which, I would respond that I played Rez. It was admittedly pretty snazzy. But I would not buy Kinect for a different version of Rez, even if it looks super prett...
"Whilst Half Life 2 and Team Fortress will give you decent gaming experiences they do suffer from a poor port, especially Half Life 2 which accounts for the majority of the Box. The only real reason you should care is Portal, and oh my goodness should you care. The concept is mind blowing, the gameplay is smooth and the narration is very funny. The game does what so few attempt to do and even less succeed at; make you think and make it cool. Also, Gabe “we love you” Newell has done an ab...
How so? You are playing the very same party games that the Wii threw at you in the beginning. There has been no showing of actual core games using the Kinect, and definitely no proof of it actually being able to handle core games at all..
So, sure. Enjoy your dancing, enjoy your leaping around on rafts, and enjoy your exercise games, but please do not call those new.
Gimme a game that's a brand new experience, then we can talk.
If Sony ever made enough of what they're trying to sell. I've only seen one single stand alone Move controller - you know, the thing that everyone wants - so far.
I dunno. I personally think Move will lose in the short run, but it will last, and potentially win the long run, while Kinect will win in the short run, but really slow down once people get tired of the same mini games that they already played on the Wii. Plus, the casuals are fickle.. It really will be inte...
The sales might pick up for Christmas. Who is going to buy their child an expensive game that requires expensive peripherals just a month and a half before Christmas?
Let's hope Tony Hawk's doesn't pick up, though. It would serve them right at this point.
I kind of want one that's set someplace foreign. Japan would be amazing, think of the cool-ass maps you could get from that.. Or China.. Or idk. England. Italy. Something cool, lots of culture and iconic buildings. blahblah.
