I'm in serious hardcore love with Deathwing.
They've had Kirby, Donkey Kong Country, Metroid Other M, Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Endless Ocean games this year.
Plus they've had a lot of other exclusives that aren't first party, like Epic Mickey, Tatstunoko vs Capcom, GoldenEye, Red Steel 2, No More Heroes 2, etc.
The Wii still has momentum. Obviouslyyy.
It really can't be denied. Their first party games have been nothing but stellar, disregarding Wii Music.
Plus, how can this be said when the Wii line up just this year has been amazing? Donkey Kong Country, Goldeneye, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Kirby Epic Yarn, etc.

It's hard to be amazing at GT5, and it takes a lot of time. Need for Speed is more instant gratification, and crashing and running from the popo is always pure, simple fun that you don't have to spend hoursss to get good at.
Different genres. That's like saying Call of Duty is better / more fun than Fallout 3. It makes literally no sense, because just because they are both first-person and have guns, they're completely 100% different types of games.
If there was such a huge divide, their official score shouldn't have been a 3.

That's it. It might take a decade or a century, and it'll be delayed 3209482x, but everything game they make it perfection, so why wouldn't they be able to make THE perfect game eventually?
But just think if Valve and Blizzard joined forces. It would take literally forever for the game to come out, but just imagine how perfect it literally could be..

There are a lot of terrible games out there, my friend. I think avoiding them would be beneficial.
Why?
I loved RE5. I know I might be in the minority, but it's one of the most fun co-op experiences this gen. The guns are awesome, and it's truly super fun if you play with a pal. Sure, it's not scary, but the licker levels did creep me out a bit..
And you get used to the controls within 2 seconds. I thought I would hate it and never get used to it, but I stopped noticing them past the first level.
Plus, the DLC Lost in Nightmares is terrifying, and...
"Ben There, Dan That" is another point-and-click that's literally super funny. Free download from Zombie-Cow Studios. Go get it. Then play the sequel. And their other games.

I really think that a reviewer should play the majority of the game before releasing reviews about it.
Admittedly, with a game like this, it's very hard to say when enough is enough, since there's just so much game. At the same time though, they're releasing a final grade for a game that they haven't even gotten past the tip of the iceberg in.. Which is wrong.

At least not for a few more years. I've put a lot of $$ into my systems, and I don't think there is a need for a next gen yet. Xbox 360 has made it this far without Blu ray, and I've played some truly amazing games on the console. I don't see why this gen can't last a bunch longer, especially since they just shipped out Kinect.

Lucas loves his girlfriend-ish whatever recent ex that you can have nookie with towards the beginning of the game. Then he gets dead within a week, and then 2 seconds later loves Carla. .. and makes sweet dead love to her.
