The problem is they have fewer people working on it and at the same time it has to be released on the same day. Would you be upset if the 360 and all other versions came out a month earlier than the PS3 version? It's a choice of which you would prefer. Yes they are making baseless excuses when most developers say they are nearly identical (Monilith for ex.), but the problem still remains manpower. The only thing you can do to get EA to listen is to buy two, three, or even four PS3's and get t...
If Mass Effect can get a solid frame rate it will certainly be prettier and hopefully have matching voice actting to boot. Unfortunately there wont be a jump button for either. But when it comes down to it nothing looks better than Resident Evil 5, nothing...
I absolutely agree. However this game is more for people who look at games as art. What I mean is that if your the type of person that just runs through a game beats it, then trades it back in you won't appreciate how many little things the developers put in the game. I mean every time I play the demo I'm finding something new wether it's a dead cat, or a flammable toilet. This game deserves every 10 out of 10 it gets and I hope EVERYONE gets a chance to play it, but still not for everyone wi...
The worst thing to do is to tell the world what you carry around to defend yourself.... Unless you can summon Bankai that is...
Didn't the 360 outsell the PS3 and the Wii combined for an entire year?
Why are you blatantly attacking the DS like that, you make me sick. Go play your Nokia Ngage...
Of course it's lazy devs, because it's easy to make a game identical on 10 platforms... Just look at the color black every console can run it just fine...
If the 360 version ran at 30 fps like it did the last 2 years would this be a big deal? Personaly I can't tell a difference unless running the PS3 version side by side with the 360. Also does it not make more since for an American system running an American made game to be looked at in a higher light by the American press? You need to look at the political implications and not just personal agenda. I have very little respect for EA and I personaly respect what you are doing, but you have to l...
DVD 9 is not a problem for the game. Remember that the PC vesion will be using it, the HDD will be the only problem. Right now Epic has a lot of resources investead in running the unreal engine on the PS3 which $ony paid for so it's understandable. My guess is they will use this to take large parts out of the game to sell them on the market place which is gonna suck for everyone. Unreal always has been and always will be better on the PC IMO.
Remember your in Splicer territory through out the entire demo. You eventual go to the real city where there are "normal" people. The demo was just to show how intense combat was in a short time.
"Look Bubbles an Angel"
"Oh wait he's still breathing..."
No one has pointed out the fact that the kid was alone in the PS3 section long enough to right PS3 sucks with a marker 23 times. Another part was it took them so long to realize that hey a kid was looking at PS3 stuff something is off here. And finaly it was so easy to spot the kid because he had been the only one there since a few weeks after the price drop!
They need to fire the marketing director that thought cutting a head off a goat for GoW 2 was a good idea and replace him with this kid.
Thank God he wasn't a Nintendo fan cause he would have just gone "Wiiii!"
A 5.5 out of 10 isn't that great for Lair unless you have really low expecatations. It does look like HS will be a 10/10 game though.
Battery life is one problem but there is also the issue of heat as well. The only time heat has been a problem for me is when I'm using the internet browser while charging it for more than 30 minutes, so I guess they may have figured this out while testing it. Here's hoping that the new PSP 2000 resolves this!
It will probably be at 1080p on the 360. Always nice to have the option but I prefer 720p because you generaly get a smoother frame rate IMO. I would agree with this going multi platform just because EVERYONE needs to play this game!
It may not be as compelling as other games but I have to say from playing the demo it's darn good mindles fun. Plus I'm a gundam geek as well. There's a Zaku, a Hi-zak, some Gaza-C, oooh and some Nemos... Where's Sazabi?
It's a psychological thing. I hear a lot of older gamers that play it say that using the stylus makes them feel like their using a PDA and not randomly tapping buttons. It's strange to me as well but non-gamers seem to like it more. Plus I'm guilty of owning Pokemon myself so...
Don't do that to Burnout, it's made by Criterion and not EA. They were simply picked up after Acclaim passed on, so don't blame them for what EA sports is doing. And remember Dice too. EA owns many good developers and leaches off of them to get it's high reputation. Personaly I have never played games made by EA, but I can't resist some of there other developers offerings (Burnout, Half-Life, Farcry, Crisys, Battlefield).
