What you wanna bet it's a download only console. Especialy given all the old Sega games comming out on Virtual console and Live. I might even go as far as to say they have made more money off the downloadable content than there new releases (especial considering the production cost of a 12 year old game).
Good comment Elementx, bubble for you. I just can't see how or why people are arguing over a list of games coming to a console?! Lots of games I'm gonna be picking up, I've even been brushing up on my Rainbow 6 and C&C3. But in all honesty, Starcraft 2 will consume all in '08...
Hey edmix where are the RTS's on your list? Oh that's right, sorry for bringing that up... Well you can always get a 360 cause you see plenty on that list ;)
Hopefuly this will open the door for all journalists hiding behind the curtain to come out and expose what's been going on. Like hell GS is the only site doing it... Maybe to balance this the add teams can have sugested retail reviews.
I completely agree with C Sol, it's much easier to build to the known limitations of the PS3 and then port to the 360. And before anyone jumps up in arms about "known limitations" think about it. Known limitations are what you've seen from the console so far, RaC, UC, Rfom. Thus take what you know it can do and go that far then begin experimenting with going farther while the other devs are making the 360 port. If you discover anything or push beyond known boundaries it's pretty eas...
I'm still hoping for a port of Starcraft for PSP....

True to that MK, Criterion is a wonderful developer, EA is not... Stick to publishing guys and leave the developing to the artists, who wants the pit crew driving the car?
You can play it on 360 or PC as well so what's the problem?
"Sony is market leader when it comes to gaming" you mean Nintendo right? Cause last time I checked the DS is the fastest selling system of all time.
@ Quackpot maybe reviewers took points off because you could beat the entire game pressing the x button? And Bioshock only had repetitive game play if you played it the same way everytime. Given I did beat Bioshock in one sitting, 17 hours. I picked it up that morning and didn't turn it off until I was done...
That's about right for Halo 3. Last year Gears got GOTY simply because everyone owned it, plus it didn't have the greatest competitors. This year has had so many great games from begining to end and I wont even begin to list them, this has been the greatest year for gamers in years!!!
Danja take out that "the" and you've hit the nail on the head for warhawk...
I'm on my second play through of Mass Effect and I have to say the graphics aren't at all jaw dropping. Having played Crysis running at max it's not even a comparison. Given it does have the best conversation system ever created. Honestly I doubt anyone who can truely run Crysis will say any game is comparable.
How could I disagree that it's your GOTY? I don't know you, and with your grammar I don't want to frankly...
I'm sorry I just had to comment on these rants. I agree with everything Brian and Cmrbe said. Very good points and bubbles to both. And about the game comment, have you ever seen Will @ Grace? Drinking and having a good time with friends has 0% to do with being gay, tongue diving a stink tube does...
I guess Sony thought rumble was last gen then as well...
And @ above, they also seem to assume the PS3 will win in the end as well. With the 360 selling decent from here on out it will be impossible for the PS3 to catch up based on all current calculations. Honestly I can see MS and Nintendo coming out with a new system in 09 (some rumors point to a joint effort as well). And Sony has admitted they are working on the PS4 as we speak. It's usual for companies to be talking about the next step years before they release it (so don't freak out if you j...
Maybe by "gamers" they mean "WOW" fanatics. But truthfully, $1600 for a 32" LCD? You could get a PC monitor around that size for under $1000 and still have $600 for sound alone... Personaly I have a 46" Samsung DLP and I ownly payed $1200 a while back.
