I hope everyone who owns a BR player has one that connects to the internet because then they should be fine. Those that might have skimped out and got a cheaper player will regret it sooner or later. On the other hand, I don't see how necessary 50 or 100 gigs is needed unless your talking about putting an entire season of a show on one disc. Good future promise but it's all a "wait and see" premise until they stop making normal dvds IMO.
Wow, you just hit the jackpot MK. Still, there are so many games coming out there is absolutely no way to have a proper top ten. Personaly I would switch Raving Rabids with Jericho and Uncharted with Haze. Raving Rabids because it is a sequal and Jericho is brand new, and Uncharted because it reminds me too much of Just Cause everytime I see a new video for it (I know I'll get hate mail for that one but I'll stand behind it until I play Uncharted).
FPS controls aren't exactly the best on the PSP but heck if you can you should I say. MGS would control pretty darn good if it's anything like portable ops!
IMO Socom is Sony's Halo. I played Socom long before Halo and it has by far more loyal and hardcore fans than Killzone or RFoM. The new one should be no different.
Exactly, you need to look at all of her money scandals and the fact that she is married to an impeached president. A bad president can't destroy America, but it certainly wouldn't help anything. I'd agree with you about the MGS, but not so much on FFXIII. I've got several friends that are going to be buying PS3's if MGS doesn't come to 360 (I'm not saying it is, just repeating what others tell me). I think too many people were disapointed by FFXII, and I personaly was too busy playing the remake of FFIII to play it.
Yes, much better looking than Drakes Fortune. I would much rather have a short game that I love than a long game that's just looks tedious to play. So really you can say it's about 7 for the first play through and about 5 for the second making it 12 hours all together.
True to a point, some use flash drives now(splitting hairs I know). They are saying that BR is a neccesity for the storage, which it is more of a convenience. You bring up a better point, the main neccesity for games is HDDs.
Then why don't PC games run on HD or BR? Space isn't such a problem as people make it out to be, heck you can still get some games on CD's!
Why does no one ever mention C&C3. It made my summer and I'm still playing it more than just about any other game that is already out. I would completely agree that 2007 has been the greatest year in gaming since 2004 with Half-Life 2, San Andreas, and Halo 2. Plus it doesn't hurt that the third game in a trilogy of the best multiplayer games in history is coming out this year as well (of course I'm referring to Super Smash Bros.)
I just dont see how you can say that they will catch up by next year. With the delay on Grand Theft Auto 4, MS paved the way for all those people who were going to pick up that and a PS3, to pick up Halo 3 and a 360. Now when GTA4 comes out those people will pick up it for their 360. On top of tha people will be looking at getting a second console and most salesmen will push towards used product (yes I used to work in the Biz). They definately should have given it a 10 because that's what people expected and others will get mad and degrade them for not just simply giving it the score the developers said it should have....
It's more or less they promised a 10 out of 10 game, something we haven't played yet, but we got 60% of what we expected and it takes homage from other games like Jade Empire. That does make since, as much hype is behind something like Halo 3 and it ends up being as good as say Mercenaries, I would say give it a score of 6 even though it's fun. I would want to know if a game lives up to the hype or not and not just see a high score just to make people happy.
Most people won't buy a system that comes with an IOU, that's why so many are buying the WII. I'm all for expecting the next great thing, but please give me something to do in the mean time.
If theoretically the 360 came out day and date with the PS3 then it would still be ahead at this point and time by a few 100k units. If you use internet explorer, you can turn pop ups off completely but you have to right click and open things in a different tab to read news. Small price to pay IMO.

Secret you need to reword much of what you said. Everything you talked about gave the impression that Sony is in Microsofts shadow. Microsoft can't hold back the graphics for first party games or length for that matter. I can only imagine how many true Sony loyalists are completely embarrassed to hear your banter. I'm not knocking you for your passion, just proof read what you type so you don't give the wrong impression.
