@ m9105826, there is no reason for you to get a 360 with what you already have. You are already playing MS games with no need to buy something cheaper to play the same games. That's why the xbox brand was made, so people who can't afford to spend thousands on a PC to play games can still enjoy MS games. Playing them on PC doesn't hurt MS by any means, that's what they did first. Consider the fact that you can by the new xbox in about a year or two or spend the same amount of money upgrading ...

But one point is why is it called "new owner transitions from xbox 360 to PS3"?, wouldn't it have sounded better as long time 360 owner buys a PS3? Well that's the point of a comparison, so people can share their opinions before the game is released and you can make a more educated decision buying it.

@ above^, it was also on the origanal xbox just at a later date. I think GTA III made PS2 not the other way around because all of my friends who own a PS2 got one for GTA III.
@dora, I have to disagree with you on the PS3 launch being the best. I would have to give that honor to the gamecube. I still play some of the launch games to this day.

They have it great now IMHO. Why? Because they have brought a lot of PC software (and gamers) to consoles. Yes this is geared towards hardcore gamers but why do they need to do everything? If I want something light hearted I play Mario Kart or Advanced Wars. If I want to play an RPG I turn on my Playstation. If I want to blow the heck out of something I play Halo or C&C3. Yes they all try to offer everything but I wont settle for "everything". Give me the best of the best cause ...

I'll be picking it up at launch. If you play the game for 5 hours straight then it's too short, but I'll play it an hour a day on my lunch stretching it out to 5 days.

If by AAA you mean selling over three million copies then I would agree with you, however, you need to realize that not everyone enjoys the sequalitis that plagues the industry. You shouldn't get too attached to business people because they know more of what's going on than we do and they act upon it. To me this means nothing, he's got money and wants a vacation. He might even return in a few years for all we know.
