A natal sku makes a lot of since and that elite dropping in price does leave a lot of room for speculation
Ok, so Games on Demand was just updated and most of the games are $29.99. Now, half of these games are $19.99 new from retailers. So MS is actually charging more? I think I rest my case: epic failure
One thing I will say is that it makes no sense for Microsoft to charge retail prices for downloadable games. Seeing as how the 'excuse' for higher game prices has been having to deal with all the middlemen (shipping, packaging, retail, etc.) why is the game the same $19.99 to download as if you walk in to a store? That's greed in and of itself because now the middleman is gone, but the price is still the same.
I can't say that I'm surprised though because I've been saying for a w...
This game bored the hell out of me on 360. It's repetitive, the story is kinda lame and you spend way too much time in ridiculously long dungeons. Not exactly an RPG I'd say is worth porting unless you are just that bored.
Bought these off amazon a few weeks ago. Amazing how such an inexpensive little attachment makes such a big difference. Biggest issue I had with PS3 was how awkward the shoulder buttons felt and it started hurting my hand after a few hours of playing. It's because your fingers go inward trying to hold the controller instead of just being able to "relax" on the triggers. All my friends bought them. Great little accessory for $5
people surf the web and game while driving too!? Good lord is humanity just getting dumber and dumber each day? The fact that we have to make a law for it just speaks volumes about the stupidity of mankind.
But then again, this isn't too surprising. Florida has a law that says "you cannot drive your boat on the freeway". No, I'm not making that up. It's attached to a rather funny story and I suggest looking it up
Honestly, this is not a rocket scientist type of question. Not only does 360 have way more consoles on the market, Microsoft also advertises their games a bit more than Sony does (historically speaking, Sony has always sucked at marketing as a company) and finally there's a pretty good portion of PS3 owners who honestly only own a PS3 as a Blu-Ray player. This was definitely Sony's fault because they didn't care early on to push the PS3 as a console as much as they pushed it as "the best...
Palm would still be allowed to sync with iTunes if it wasn't for how they went about it. No product is "allowed" by Apple to directly sync via iTunes because iTunes only recognizes Apple products. Palm simply implanted code into Pre's that tricked iTunes into thinking it was an iPod. Even when you connected, it said "syncing iPod" and not "syncing Palm Pre".
For example: BlackBerry devices can all sync with iTunes through their free software called M...
i think the disagrees I got in my above post proves that no one even reads messages anymore. Did you not see that I said that 360's hard drive's are overpriced and that I said the same thing that ApolyPS3 said about the games on demand thing (the disk authenticating the game)?
God, this site is so retarded.
and @condor, you're an idiot. How is it a double standard when this article is ONLY TALKING ABOUT THE 360. Sorry I'm not jumping all over the place like a 9 year...
one thing i never understood about the 360 and it's "full game" installs... if it's the full game, why does the disk still have to be inserted to play the game? If the full game is installed, it makes little sense that the disk needs to be inserted to play. I'm assuming that the read parameters on the disk are not installing to the drive (perhaps to prevent piracy) and that portion needs to be read on the disk.
Anyway, unless you're an idiot, MS needs bigger and cheaper...
Pretty sure PC versions of games are always better than the console versions anyway, especially in graphical prowess. Who keeps writing this crap... oh wait... nevermind... was too obvious
Not quite sure this qualifies as a leaked image or even a story. And, if it does, then PSM (PlayStation Magazine) would have dibs here because they had this very same thing in last month's issue and clearly stated it was Uncharted on PSP, but didn't get any comment from Sony on it.
... it'd be the first handheld to suffer from RROD
... it'd be the first handheld that required you buy all accessories separately and overpriced (mini wifi adapter)
... would be the first handheld to have a yearly subscription to connect to xbox live over wifi.
All jokes aside, I've wondered the same thing, but I'm not sure. Microsoft can't even get its accessories in the line of affordability and the 360 (despite what you want to argue) isn't exactly a pinnacle of ...
Very unlikely this will happen, especially since ATI doesn't have any good 'low end' cards that most of the Macbook's are using. Not to mention the hybrid graphics chip that's highly responsible for the Macbook's better battery life and ATI has nothing like that. This is more speculative conjecture than anything else because of a few defects (probably written by an angry Apple fan). I'd say the chance of this happening though are: zero, especially since nVidia and Apple also just launched the...
Never accurate enough for a shooter? You obviously didn't watch Sony's motion control demo. Even in its early stages it was the most pinpoint accurate motion controller shown to date and I'd say it easily has the best shot of being accurate enough for hardcore games like a true FPS title. I'm sure game support will be lacking at launch, so hopefully at the very least current games can be patched because if it's as accurate as they showed, games like Killzone 2, Resistance and Unreal Tournamen...
There are definitely people complaining about the score, which should just be ignored in all cases, but there are also those that are complaining that the guy obviously didn't just play the game - which in turn affected his score. This reminds me of GameDaily's MGS4 review by the dumbass Chris Buffa. He got a lot of backlash for his review and while a lot of people did complain at the low score, the majority were just pointing out that in his review, you could tell he didn't even actually pl...
Well if you've got a more recent BlackBerry, such as a Curve 8900, Pearl Flip or Storm then you're already on the Standard and RIM has all ready announced last year that all future BlackBerry devices are going to use the new port. So, no need to wait until the last minute - at least for them.
I'm not one to particularly be fond of any of Microsoft's PR's, but people need to get over this whole "omg you work for x company so you shouldn't use z company's products" because that's just stupid logic. As someone who has several friends that work for very large electronic companies I always laugh when they walk in to a store, buy a competitive product every now and then and then watch the reps wet themselves as they start snickering out loud about "oh your products must s...
Ok people are going a bit overboard now. First it was PSP quality and now full console? Seriously, guys, quit gives 'blow jobs' to Steve Jobs. The iPhone is definitely stepping its game up against handhelds, but consoles? um... no.
First off, anyone saying they can send MMS on the iPhone for AT&T in this post is just flat out lying unless your iPhone is Jailbroken - so pay little attention to those people. If someone sends you a picture you get a text message with a URL, user and pass to view the picture and you cannot send pictures via MMS either - you can only email.
