I kept refreshing the page cause I was looking for an article that was actually worth clicking on too. This guy's a dumbass. I want my 3 minutes of my life back for that.
The game is floating around, but Rockstar has contracts for anyone given a pre-release copy that they aren't allowed to release a review until whatever date they stated in the contract (more than likely, the day before launch at the earliest). This contract is pretty common in the gaming industry and pretty much exists for every game. That's why you don't see game reviews weeks or even days before launch, it's usually a day or two before launch at the most. It's a standard industry agreeme...
Welp, not trying to make light of the situation, but if the girl died, these two won't be getting out of jail. More than likely they are now going to get life sentence since the chargers will increase to Aggravated Assault, Manslaughter, Child Abuse and Endangerment, amongst others. Plus, since the mom admitted he's abused the child before, that'll tack on some time. These two are done.
I agree that I could definitely see EA delaying the game until Fall. Whereas Take 2 needs to put it out now to make money, EA would give them the money/has the money to keep them stable until Fall.
However, I think Take 2 is purposely delaying the buyout for this very reason and also given the fact that if EA takes over Take 2 (irony?) before GTAIV is released, then EA would get a nice chunk of the money pie and I'm sure Take 2 doesn't want to give up any cash to EA that they di...
Are you guys actually believing this story? You really think that companies like Verizon Wireless, Comcast, Time Warner, etc. who invest billions of dollars a year in Internet technology would not be aware of something like this?
We have "casual" rollout of products for a reason. Sure, the tech might be there, but this won't see the light of day on a consumer scale for at least 10 years for several reasons:
a) won't be available everywhere
b) Only Bil...
I approved this story only because I think the Star Wars game is going to be epic, but this is pretty sad day for this guy. Basically, after being wined and dined by Microsoft, he jumped on the bandwagon. Every game on that list except for Ninja Gaiden 2 is also available on every other console, including Star Wars, so I'm not sure why you need a 360 to play Star Wars. But, I guess that's why this is just a blog.
Never realized the PSP was a console. Always thought it was a handheld myself. You know...because you hold it in your hands.
Yea, didn't he say Metal Gear 3 was gonna be his last? And here we have 4. He'll be back. The only way he'd retire from MGS is if he honestly thinks that there's nothing he can do to top MGS4. If you're gonna retire from one of the best gaming franchises ever, it might as well be with one final epic game. So, unless he's willing to admit that MGS4 is his greatest creation ever, he'll be back for another.
“the whores on the 360 version only have red lipstick on 3/4 of their mouths… check it out next time you play, but don’t make it to obvious, we’re hoping to slip that one through certification testing. Brad, the artist that did that, calls it the Red Ring of Herpes!”
For anyone that's actually worked in a professional videogame editorial environment - and I'm pretty sure most of you haven't - the pressure to "please" the developers is pretty high. Granted, I've only spent maybe 2 years total in a professional environment, working out of the offices of a large electronic gaming outlet that shall remain anonymous, but even then I remember being told to be "lenient" and "forgiving" with my reviews, with the main reason that ult...
I'm sort of wondering if the fact that most of these games were not really "built" with rumble in mind (it was just merely added as an afterthought for if/when rumble would come back) if that's the case for weaker support. I can even think back for PS2 and certain games felt a lot different. Some games incorporated rumble very well, whereas others didn't. My guess would be that none of the games that are out now that "support" the Dual Shock 3 were actually built with it ...
Gotta side with RiseofMonster on last gen's. The GameCube looked like a purple lunchbox. Always had me wondering where Barney was. The Xbox looked like it should have been attached to a poll and used as a sledgehammer weapon and the PS2 was just sort of like a Giant Black Lego.
Yea these guys have been around for a bit. My company actually used them recently to do a full business products with our logos on it and name and such. Very top quality job. Would definitely recommend these guys. It's not bad either if you're looking to do a gift for someone. Just buy your unit straight from them, have them customize it and mail it off to you.
First screenshots? rofl? There have been ingame shots around for months.
I doubt they will release an integrated Blu-Ray drive in the 360. An attachment probably, but not integrated. There'd be no point. No one is going to go run out and buy ANOTHER 360 just because it has Blu-Ray in it now. If you wanted HD, you either were dumb and bought an HD DVD drive, or you all ready have a PS3 or Blu-Ray player. Plus, the added benefit of PS3 coming with Blu-Ray from the getgo allowed developers to use Blu-Ray disks for their games. If the 360 were to have an integrated ...
What's usually typical about Windows and insecurity is usually found in Third Party applications. Part of the main reason Macs are typically considered safer is part what a few of you mentioned above (more people simply target Windows since it affects more people), as well as the fact that you can't really install anything on the damn machines.
Even in this contest, they broke through Vista THROUGH third party applications. Before that, they couldn't just get through on the syste...
To be honest, I agree quite a bit with Rus, as my Wii has been collecting dust for quite some time. Virtually everything is mini games and/or games that are fun so long as you've got 4 drunk buddies over. Granted, there are a few gems in there, but I've been pretty disappointed with the serious lack of more "serious" and "full" games. The machine in itself is freaking awesome and Nintendo was on the right track this time (finally), but perhaps all their burned bridges i...
Best news story ever?
It's obviously fake and the poorly written article with grammar errors all over the place backs that up.
However, I'm one that I think this WILL happen eventually. But, I think it'll happen shortly after GTAIV releases. EA is being hostile at the moment because they want to take ownership before the game hits so as to sneak in on the money train. It's not like they have helped build the game in its current form and I think Take 2 is just stalling the buyout until after GTAIV hit...
This guy is totally missing the point. He's giving Nintendo credit for something as if it's company policy to not put violent games on their consoles or handhelds, when in fact it's just because their market is mostly targeted at the younger generation who are more likely to go out and buy a Pokemon game over a God of War game. So, developers build games based on the market. If you look at the top 10 games (in amount sold) on both the Wii and DS, it's surprising to see that even Zelda's aren...
