Don't put an SSD in your PS3. It's not really worth it. I wish I had the link to the site that actually compared load times using a 128 and found little to no performance increase, especially for the price difference. These are best left in PC's at the moment.
Sorry Ninja
Try actually owning the game instead of looking at innaccurate crap online. I own the regular edition of the game for 360 and not the CE edition and it has the Only on Xbox tag on it.
I'm sure NEWER copies of the game (probably copies produced after they announced it wasn't exclusive anymore) don't have the tag, but the originals all still do.
Pretty sure I have a copy of Bioshock on 360 that says "Only on 360" on it and look where that went. :) These tags mean nothing so I wouldn't take this for anything until an announcement comes.
I'm not sure if it's so much hate TOWARDS Sony or hate AT Sony and people just have a hard time expressing themselves properly. For example, I'm mad AT Sony. Sony is responsible for where the PlayStation 3 is simply because they have decided that the PS3 is a blu-ray player first and a console second. They are losing exclusives left and right because they refuse to promote them and when the game sells poorly the developers are jumping ship. They have the world's worst marketing team (or at le...
You know what else is in a few weeks? CES and MacWorld, both of which involve mobile products. Wonder if that has any significance or if 1up just forgot about that entirely.
Kind of hard to compare Netflix with no new movies and a pathetic library to Sony's library that's chock full of new releases and tv shows.
Not sure if Sony did a good thing or a bad thing by showing that trailer. It's obvious that the video there is very early in development because Sony would never let one of their brain child babies come out looking anything like that. Not to forget the game is over a year away from releasing.
Still, by showing such early footage, the average gamer would be disappointed because they think that's what it's going to look like. I think Sony just hurt themselves a bit more by showing ...
how moronic people are about tackling the PS3's game library when it's virtually the same as the 360's, especially in terms of the amount of exclusives.
Sony has one major problem and that problem is market perception. Market perception is the HARDEST thing to overcome because it's basically word of mouth advertising and people will trust whoever told them something and it just spreads.
The biggest issue with the PS3 isn't it's game library. MOST gamers (not the hard...
It was pretty obvious this year that Sony won in exclusives and despite which side of the fence you're on you should at least be able to admit that. The majority of 360's exclusives failed to live up to expectations (Banjo, Last Remnant, Infinite Undiscovery, etc.) and the rest of their good ones were primarily sequels to solid franchises. Sony came in with sequels and several new IP's completely.
The reason it may not be so apparent is that MS is just simply doing a much better...
First off, this could be anything. But, I'm taking a couple of things into consideration.
First off, the green is really the only real thing that ties this to 360 in anyway. While some would argue the power button is there, the power button is also identical to PS3 and PC, which sort of throws that out of the equation.
A few things to consider:
1) The link contains "MGST", which could possibly mean TEASER or even TOUCH (as in iPod Touch).
2) Sec...
If my hunches are correct, the people disagreeing with me are two retards that have been tracking/following all my comments. They just disagree with anything that I say regardless of what it is. Go look through a lot of my other posts and you'll typically see at least 2 disagrees. Like I said, people are retarded.
There are very few things that piss me off in this world, but one of them has always been people. I'm sorry, but people make me sick. It's just ridiculous how stupid, pathetic and selfish we can be as human beings that they would bum rush a store to save some money and kill a man in the process. Even worse, is that the irony of "saving money" in this situation is that most people are buying crap that they never would have even bought if it wasn't on sale. So, in essence, they aren'...
Didn't their ads get banned in some parts of Europe or something for stuff like that? Grossly over exaggerated speeds of 3G, etc. The browser is nice and all, but it can definitely take a little while to load some pages. Even more frustrating is AT&T's craptacular 3G network and how half the time you don't even have 3G.
...because much like that, the POINTS DON'T MATTER. I'm sorry, but all these achievement whores crying over points that give you absolutely nothing is pretty damn sad. It'd be different if at least the points were worth something, but they aren't. They are basically digital star stickers showing how much of your life you've devoted to games and probably ignored everyone else around you (especially when you start getting into the hundreds of thousands - that's insane).
Another game ms gave me for (and this was only a limited exclusive) that turns out to be crap. How many exclusives this year have gone down the toilet for MS this yet? The list just keeps on piling up.
Seriously, though, MS if you're going to buy games can you at least give us good ones. This is getting ridiculous. You're so in a rush to prove that you have more "more and better" games that more than half of the exclusives that you've purchased this gen have turned out ...
My main gripes are mostly what this article points out, which are only two things really: Horrible movie selection (ZERO NEW RELEASES) and that you have to use your computer to queue up. I can deal with the Queue part, but the fact that there's no new releases makes the service useless to me unless I'm extremely bored one night and want to see if I can find a 10 year old movie to watch. Overall, way overhyped and seeing as how PS3 at least has new releases, completely useless really.
Grats on NO PREVIEW. But I like how the purchase price is nice and large and easy to find.
Now, I normally have a pretty open mind in regards to all things gaming, but this was of course a power move against Microsoft. The launch date for NXE has been public for quite some time, so Sony could have pulled the movies whenever they liked. Instead, it just "coincidentally" happened to be the same day that NXE launched. That's obviously something Sony wanted Xbox 360 gamers to experience when booting up their consoles. I can't tell you how many friends called me and said that ...
...after Need For Speed: High Stakes. That was the last "good" NFS game and the one that stuck true to what the series was all about. Underground and those other Fast & Furious renditions were pretty lame. EA needs to just stick to its routes with the franchise and stop trying to be everything for everyone. Bring back the arcade, tight handling racing action on some very nicely designed and beautiful city courses and some bad ass cops and add in some online play and you've got ...
ROFL I guess seeing as how this is coming from an Xbox site the results aren't that surprising. For starters, you get compressed video on Netflix HD and no 7.1 surround sound, lossless audio, blu-ray extras, in-movie pop up menu, and the list continues. This is a pretty pointless comparison in actuality because he's basically saying he's willing to sacrifice new movie releases in better quality for older movie releases with lesser quality just because they are streamed. Lame.
