if anyone is expecting IGN to give the 360 version a major drop in score don't hold your breath. While the PS3 version looks better people are forgetting that MOST OF YOU can't see the difference until the screenshots are put side by side. In other words, when actually playing the game you'll have to sort of nitpick the details. Seeing as how the game plays smooth otherwise I'd bet that AT MOST if they give the PS3 version an 8.5, the 360 version will get the same OR something meager like an ...
with Sin and Punishment 2 and a few other games coming out next few months might finally repurchase a Wii (sold my first one).
forgot all about this game... looks fun
You might want to actually read the full article idiot because time and money aren't the only reasons he gives. He clearly states that he also sees the fact that not everyone has a 360 with a hard drive to begin with, as well as the cost of ownership will factor in for Natal. Please read more than the first paragraph before posting comments.
This has been pretty noticeable since E3 and at every showing so far. It's no wonder why Microsoft says the first wave of games for it will be family oriented. Hmm....that sounds familiar. Could it be Wii 360? Yip. Much like the Wii, it lacks major precision so at best I wouldn't expect to see any core games support it at all because the lag would get on your nerves in more serious games.
For all those iPhone fans waiting for a Flash update to the iPhone I think all of the bickering from Steve Jobs just sort of put those dreams to rest because he obviously isn't interested in Flash for his products and I'm more inclined to side with Adobe that while Apple is using the excuse of performance as their reason it has more to do with Apple losing money when people realize they are paying for stuff on iTunes that's essentially free elsewhere. Other high end smartphones utilize flash...
So how would a small site like MSXbox world get footage like this and no one like IGN or GameSpot has it? Wonder if it has anything to do with that illegal 360 copy floating around. Just a thought.
I hope this video wasn't meant to say the game looks just as good as the PS3 version cause after seeing this video I'm even more convinced that the latest screenshots are the real deal because you can see the horrible pixelation in characters faces pretty clearly in this video. It's only smooth at certain points but when the camera gets up close to anything it's horribly compressed and looks exactly like the screenshots.
For most people I imagine they can't see the difference, bu...
holy crap some of you are you saying you can beat this game in about 4 hours? Are you serious?
Think I will rent this at some point in the future. It's not high on my priority list and with all the other good games this one will have to wait a bit for me
Halo Reach is an obvious bet for topping in sales, but unless he's not counting PC games at all, both Starcraft 2 and WoW: Cataclysm will be heavy contenders. Everyone in the world plays both of those games and are easy bets for being the biggest sellers this year.
For those saying GT5 is a heavy contender, this is both true and false. If you look at history, Gran Turismo series has always been strong so you'd like to say it will be strong again. However: a) we don't know for sur...
GOOD NEWS EVERYBODY! I just saved a TON of money by switching my console insurance to Geico!
...seriously, move on all ready people. The constant nagging, finger-pointing and nay saying is getting a bit old. What happened to people just enjoying games? Pick which version you want and who cares what "other" people have to say about it..
oh but I forgot, this is the Internet and 99% of people on the Internet are a-holes who have to make sure that everyone els...
Ha yea man they got a lot of fans for these crappy games so they come out with a ton
This isn't really that surprising. I've seen God of War III ads on TeamXbox and plenty other single platform sites have said they've seen cross material as well. This is just a company making sure that people are aware that the game is also available on 360 since MOST gamers when you think of "Final Fantasy" you will automatically associate it with PlayStation. Microsoft just wants to make sure people don't just auto buy the PS3 version cause that's what pops in their head first. ...
the dPad games absolutely suck major ass on the iPhone as it is and you expect a fast-paced game like Street Fighter to play well? THis is going to be horrible and as much as I'd like to see SF game on iPhone the touchscreen dpad is garbage and this will continue the trend.
Yea, this article essentially read very much like GameSpot's, which is a little too much coincidence for me. And I'm not referring to just the part about graphics. The entire thing even had the same information about the game in the same place. It sounds like an edit job to me.
so... exclusive DLC...avatar items... that you'll have to PAY for... AWESOME! haha... seriously, i lol'd
And if you don't think this is just MS trying to use the word 'exclusive' to mislead people consider this:
What other system has 360 avatars? Umm... none? So why even say the word "exclusive 360 avatars" when you're the only one with 360 avatars... duh
Major Nelson is really trying to confuse people with the FFXIII deal by saying "exclusive downloadable content" and I think he's doing it on purpose. According to the 'actual' press release the game will have exclusive AVATAR downloads and not game content as in DLC. Don't take this for something it's not.
Don't worry Arid and Blaze, Microsoft will just announce Natal support for Halo... make both of your fantasies come true... lol... and I don't care what Bungie says about Natal not being integrated in Natal... i'm sure MS has the final say there and not Bungie and given that Natal is scheduled for launch same time as Halo I don't really find that coincidence and MS knows the easiest way to make anything they do successful is to slap a Halo sticker on it... so Natal+Halo = Instant success.
There are a lot of very linear games that still prove to be quite successful. Not everything has to be super open world. While it's weird for an RPG to be incredibly linear most reviews thus far seems to have commented that Square made it work for them with this game, which means they found other ways to still make u want to enjoy the game. People need to quit reading bullet points and read the entire reviews, but I guess that's what's wrong with this industry nowadays is people only read the...
