All companies have copied other companies ideas at some point. Sony has copied plenty of MS and Nintendo ideas and vice versa. Its the nature of the beast. MS had a good last gen, but they failed to capitalize on that market momentum by shooting themselves in the foot with the xbox one. No reason why they can't earn back market share if they keep moving forward like that are now.
And even if they don't have the top in sales, they are apparently still making a shit ...
@Indy
What are you taking about? They aren't releasing any developers...
@sitdown
I think you're referring to "Launch Window".
Launch window typically means you at least put out the game within 3 months of launch.
@yomfee
So after doing a bit of digging, you're right, they never fully confirmed that Xbox one X and Xbox One will play all scarlett games.
They did mention a handful of times though when the X launched that they want it to be forward compatible, but they never mention the S or standard Xbox One.
Although, since the X launch they haven't mentioned forward compatibility again, but I'd say that there is a high chance they'...
I have kids also and my 5 year old daughter loves my switch. Probably the only reason why I'll keep buying other Nintendo games besides Zelda.
"If anyone out there is thinking, "ooh, I can finally watch my favourite HBO shows on my Wii U""
Does anyone even still own one of those paper weights? I sold that thing as soon as the Switch was announced.
Yep, they need to remake it into something short, sweet and to the point like Nintendo and Sonys.
As far as the mixer thing they probably were only doing that to help Mixer take off better with more content. Mixer seems to be growing so no need to have their own creators doing it.
Halo Infinite will be a Cross-Gen game. MS already stated that xbox one and xbox one x will be compatible with the Scarlete games.
I just hope they aren't rushing 343 to make sure it's out by then. I'd rather a delay than a rushed Halo game
Aight, I respect your opinion, but that was my original objection. I don't think Halo needs to go into a 3rd person action adventure game (or some different genre) like GoW 2018 did.
I feel it just needs a better story and maybe a reboot with a better alien threat, but changing everything that fans love about halo for its sp and mp I think would be a mistake unless it's a spin off
Then why give the GoW example? A part of GoW's rebirth was its change in direction, style, camera etc.
While I enjoyed GoW 2018 I personally think it lost a lot about what I loved of the original game. I don't think Halo needs that big of a rebirth, it just needs a better story Haha
I miss SpyHunter and Motorstorm
Yep, GTS has been a great GAAS game and example of how to support an online game
Yeah and Madden is played by real football players...
Well, to give your retort a serious answer, I believe that is what Turn 10 said they're doing for next gen and that's why there is no Forza Motorsport this year. They're getting 3 years for Forza 8, so maybe not an entirely new engine, but perhaps some good upgrades. Which I agree with you, they definitely need. Especially going into next gen
@Old
You're right that Halo was being made before MS bought them, but the original game was going to be a 3rd person action adventure game. Now im not going to say it looked bad, but that Mac footage they showed in 98 looked bad.
Possibly MS helped them create the game that redefined FPS games and shot them to the stardom they know. And as far as why they left. Well, they wanted to move on and make Destiny and MS wanted more Halo.
Gears of War has been around for over a decade but from what E3 has shown us Gears 5 is reason to own an Xbox One... or a powerful enough PC.
I'm a huge Gears fan and I had to chuckle Haha good one.
Halo doesn't not need to be turned into a 3rd person action adventure game.
@Prince
There's LITERALLY videos of real life football players playing Madden and commenting on the authenticity... lool like just google it...
