Yes, because Nintendo exclusive games are so hardcore, right?
Yeah man I love playing Sekir...
And Monster Hunter Worl...
And also Metro Exodu...
Read Dea...?
AC Odysse...?
Until Switch starts getting actually 3rd party support and not just 4+ year old ports then MAYBE they'll get hardcore gamers back. A hardcore gamer to me likes to play a wide variety of games, and while Switch has a variety... it is missing the top tier 3rd party games.
Nope, sorry, but no way will that happen.
Yeah that's why I said console exclusive. I can't imagine why it wouldn't get a port to other consoles eventually though.
@StntheticForm
I understand having a console preference, but once it becomes an obsession where you automatically hate anything the opposition does because of these skewed views is where it gets ridiculous.
TheHateYouGive
Well its not like you lose it if you already own it.
I didnt realize this was a Xbox console exclusive. MS didnt seem to make a big deal about it, but the devs confirmed and said no other platform they have plans for. Witch is kind of strange
Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesnt the Xbox One just emulate the 360/OG Xbox games? So the operating system wouldn't really make a difference.
How did Sony protect us from this when they were the first with a subscription based streaming program?
No, because it is LEGO Star Wars. How many of these do we need?
I dont think it's just that. I think that some games will struggle a lot trying to get ported and the developers dont have the resources or extra time to try and tweak and downgrade enough to get it to work at least somewhat reliably.
And this problem will only get worse once the PS5 and Xbox 2 are released and devs start developing and getting use to all that extra power.
They're getting these games, yes, but at what cost? Sub HD resolution with low graphics and bad performance, and for games that most people have already played on a better platform YEARS ago.
Did they?
They are still missing a TON of third party games, and by the time a handful get ported I have already beaten it and moved on with another superior version.
Well there has been a lot of patches, so your gaming is likely much smoother and better than when the reviewers played it.
It's okay, they will.
This is what I was afraid of. The only thing that has me interested is that this is more of a brawler, with environmental traps and dangers as well. I think some of the characters have cool designs and could play well.
I'll definitely check it out and form my opinion through GamePass though. I played the Overwatch Beta and the first free weekend of Overwatch and ended up really not liking it, so I'm not getting my Hope's high for this one.
Well once they roll out XCloud you can, but that's likely going to be a different subscription when it launches.
The clickbait is real. Sucks this is what the gaming news/journalism has become... but even world journalism has essentially become the same thing.
@thesoftware
I said they have variety, but most of those are indie games. Who is really putting Tetris, Golf Story, and the new NMH (which was terrible btw) against these other top games?
Marvel Ultimate Alliance is a nice get and so is Bayo 3, but what the heck is Tow?
