Well you can probably thank PSNow for MS taking the idea of subscription based gaming and just improving on it and making it better. Sony has had that plan for all of PS4, but they never pushed it or tried to make it attractive in price.
Well they have already brought down the price of PSNow which was a great step, they incorporated local downloads at least for games that aren't PS3 games, they have been adding more of their hits on PS4 like God of War and Horizon. So they are already making better steps with Now. They also allow PC users to stream all the games which isn't ideal, but its still a good move to increase users.
I think if they can tighten up their servers and offer better streaming, as...
For the millions of people who like Console gaming over PC gaming and who want 4k graphics without dropping $1k+ on a GPU alone...
I think it will be more of a draw when choosing new consoles (besides those who already know they want one or the other or both). GamePass you get all of MS's launch games which includes the new Halo and I'm sure they will have other launch day deals on it all without having to spend big money day one after already dropping (likely $500) money on the console itself. It will be better for those who maybe also skipped Xbox One that way they have all MS past games they may have wanted to...
I think its that mediocre chick at the office that you got just drunk enough to bang at a new years party.
Precisely.
I think it's still just in Early Access, right? I dont think they have released the full game and assets yet.
The enemies are so boring in DS. There is no threat of death or loss.
I worry more about the dumb packages getting damaged then the enemies actually doing anything.
@Arden
True, Everwild and Hellblade 2 likely wont be until 2022. Playground Games RPG could hit early 2021 since they have been on that for 2 or 3 years now.
I believe we will be seeing an announcement
of the Initiates game in 2020. We know Obsidian is working on a AAA RPG.
Remember, the PS4 didn't come out swinging with big games right away either. It took then a couple years into its life to start pumping out their big...
Halo, Forza, Everwild, Playground AAA RPG I'd say will definitely be at launch/launch window.
Except The Initiative is boasting working on a "AAAA" game. Sounds like stupid budget bolstering, but no way they are working on anything less than a AAA
Because typically major changes dont happen less than a year out. A lot of money and testing goes into these designs and deciding to install and program additional buttons this late is kind of last minute.
At this point the systems and accessories should be going through final design approvals and testing and getting ready for production.
That ps4 remake was gorgeous.
Shadow of the Colossus is still my favorite from them, and still one of my all time favorite games.
Just to clarify, are we counting a stand alone expansion as a full release alongside UC4 and TLoU2?
@Oldboy
Did you call Spiderman a new IP?
Why does it always circle back to MS? No one even mentioned MS lol.
1st party? That's about it.
2nd and 3rd party? I'd say Ori, Cuphead, Sunset Overdrive, Quantum Break and Titanfall all stood out to me.
Yep, nothing wrong with side teams pumping out solid AA experiences alongside the big ones.
Yeah 2 lessened it more, and 3 I dont think I ever even used it.
Even as an MS fan I have no desire to really play this game, but with the tech and how crazy it looks I'm glad there is GamePass where I can try it out for myself without having to drop money on something I know isn't for me.
