They have Bleeding Edge, Hellblade 2, Project Insight, and Project MARA. Hellblade 2 is the largest team of 40 and the rest have around 20.
That figure isnt confirmed and also is factored in with the creation of a brand new engine and marketing.
No, what he did was make others cash grab on a tech demo that just recycled a freaking hallway. Now we have dozens of cheap games trying to copy it.
@Haaliax
Everwild, but I'm not sure that will be ready by launch. Maybe Q2/3 2021
Realistically it will be Halo Infinite and Forza 8 as the main two 1st party showcases for the Series X. Possibly an unannounced 3rd party exclusive. Then the rest will be the typical 3rd party games.
@generic
No I don't remember that. I remember then cutting features on old gen. I also remember them cutting out sections of that map to sell later and add into Destiny 2...
Interestingly, Xbox's Phil Spencer has an answer as to why we didn't see Fable 4 at E3. He says Xbox wants "to make sure that when we talk about things to come, whether it’s Fable or not, that the team feels very solid about what they are doing. I will harken back to … the Marvel MMO. Anybody remember us announcing a Marvel MMO? We didn’t even have a team that was signed that would do the Marvel MMO."

Fable 4 isn't confirmed. And I hope they don't rehash the name just for recognition. I want Playground games to have their own staple IP. It can still be an epic fantasy RPG that takes inspiration from Fable, but I hope they are creating their own legacy and not just rebooting Fable.
So basically you're saying they are damned if they do and damned if they don't lol
@r2oB
Forza has already stated that they will have far more advanced physics features for the game, these advancements could be missed on the old gen because the CPU's can't calculate all the simulations. Halo Infinite will have denser battlefields, more going on in them, more realistic physics simulation for destruction. Of course they will have other graphical features like Ray Tracing and such only available on the newer GPU's.
Remember some cross-gen games this gen had to completely remove features to support last gen? Mordor had to remove the Nemisis system for the 360/ps3 version. CoD got rid of their co-op mode.
There is nothing that is stopping MS from having an internal dev team assisting their dev studios in porting their games for them to support Xbox One. If that means they have to scale down or even remove features then they can do that while the main dev continues making the game they e...
That's not what this means. It means for all games launching for the next couple years, there will be an Xbox One version as well. Now, it could still mean Senua specifically is 2 years or so out, but there will still be games at launch and after lol
huh? All games launching this year will be compatible on Series X through BC. Launch games like Halo Infinite and Forza 8 will have features only available on the Series X.
Xbox hasn't had exclusives since most of this gen...
And people out here acting like cross-gen games are some new thing.
Very nice story. I'm glad there was someone there, even a world apart, that recognized an emergency and saved his life. Online gaming friendships for the win!
@Rain
Developers actually have to balance AI to make sure they aren't too smart and can out think and maneuver the player. Devs like ND have the ability to make super smart AI, but would it make it too frustrating?
I doubt it. Dogs are such an overused trope to get people emotional about a death. I'm over it. Its just a video game.
Better draw distances, better texture streaming/loading, better AI, better physics, better destruction, toned down loading screens or those obvious transitional loading zones in games...
I get what you're saying, but that's also another reason why the recent spider-man skipped the whole origin story thing. Its been getting stale.
And besides maybe Spider-Man, Batman, Super-Man, there hasn't really been all that many hero movies to continue to reboot the origin stories.
It's only $30
