That's my biggest issue, if someone doesn't have treasure. There is no consequences for them to just suicide blow you up or plow into you for the hell of it.
The tax would have only applied to avoidable deaths. So pointless suicides or kamikaze runs would be taxed while someone dying in battle or PvP wouldn't. It made perfect sense to me and I was fully behind it :/
Ah well.
@Tyler
The difference is that meta user scores or filled with trolls and fanboys. Open Critic at least uses publications and doesn't just use any users bullcrap score.
I liked the idea so that way players can't just suicide run your boat without any consequences :/
Well I guess it's good they are listening to the fans, but I guess you can't please everyone.
Right? I mean it's one thing if he found it boring or not as fun without a crew. Fair point. But to say what he said is just silly.
It also has a 75% from contributor average on OpenCritic
@Everyone who replied
Since when is a 7 a bad score? That's above average... Oh wait I forgot we live in a day and age where if it's not a 9 it's automatically crap.
You keep comparing this to NMS with the score. SoT also has a 5.5 and NMS has a 4.5 for user scores. Also the game is sooo much more than NMS, but someone who hasn't played one or the other wouldn't know that...
Even in a non Xbox article you still have to bring up Xbox... smh Fanboys are terrible. Can't you just stay on topic and talk about how cool and unique this game is going to be?
You make Sony fans look terrible. Just enjoy your games.
This particular one looks pretty dumb and way too simple, but the possibilities for other great games is what excites me.
@OffRoadKing
I have also seen so many people really enjoying the game. It's at 70 on Meta, hardly a crap game. Most people agree it needs more content. This guy is just pissed because he sucks at sailing alone haha
Where are you seeing the 22k number?
Good work Rare. Game is truly gorgeous and a lot of fun to play.
Haha okay
Vast majority yet the meta is at 70...
"You cannot and will not have any sort of fun in this game by playing alone. You’re going to need at the very minimum one other buddy to play this game with."
Huh, tell that to my multiple hours sailing alone taking down 2 man crews with ease.
Yeah they're getting pretty crazy, sometimes it feels unfair when multiple crews dog pile you, but when you get a cool crew helping you out it is really fun.
I have had some amazing journeys in this game. I love it and can't seem to get enough... yet.
I know it's not crucial, but the fact he isn't really cutting the onion and carrots is bugging me haha
Also... the guy trying to shoot the birds needs to go back to basic training :D
@Elda
Exactly. The only time it would be an issue is if he was completely ripping off TLoU, but from what I'm seeing is he is taking all the great things about it's presentation, graphics, tones writing etc. and wrapping it up in a nice GoW package.
Have you played it?
Absolutely not
