Ive played the stress test and all the beams for the buildings come down.
Battlefield doesn't have dynamic destruction tho. Everything is precalculated so no matter how you blow up a wall it will be the same
Lol somones got a big pile of egg on their face after a comment like that haha
It's not. There are a few things to consider even if the destruction of buildings is similar.
1. All the destruction is being processed on a server, which means that no matter the hardware you use, everyone is getting the same destruction.
2. Since it is online, destruction is happening around you even if you're not the one blowing things up. Guerilla would not be able to support 10 people destroying things all at the same time
...
Oh a positive article about crackdown 3? I was confused for a moment.
@mkis
So it's not impressive at all that they are producing destruction that is calculating for 10 different people all from an online server? Yes, perhaps the final outcome is about the same as guerilla (which could be debatable), but the fact it's all running off a server and not your local machine is pretty cool.
My thing with the Guerilla comparisons is that most of the building in Guerilla are fairly small. I could be remembering that wrong ...
@Majin&Rob
So checked for myself and you're right! That is an awesome feature. I played PSNow when it first came out and streaming wasn't my thing unfortunately. Maybe by PS5 they'll figure out how to DL ps3 titles and start adding more recent games.
So you can play Killzone Shadows Fall online MP through PSNow without PS+?
I'm a big fan of Crackdown so I'm excited. Same with a handful of my friends. It's definitely not a title everyone is going to be excited about though
Should I re-phrase?
The guy describing the agents said (paraphrasing): "You can choose a female agent who has better agility our swap her out for a male who is better at driving."
The joke here is that women are bad at driving, and I'm making fun of someone who would get triggered by someone saying that women are bad drivers.
Is that better?
So it's just a character/ armor skin? It doesn't make the combat better
No, as in stop holding it to a pre-alpha tech test and enjoy it for the game they built.
I think the jumping is fine because if how vertical the game is. At least in the MP.
The SP you'll start out with low jumps until you build your agility, just like in the other crackdowns.
I think there were so many delays and devs attached to ensure that the SP or MP weren't effected by each other. The SP honestly looks like a ton of fun in that traditional crackdown 1 style, but bigger and better.
I played wrecking zone, and while I really enjoyed the short time I had with it, I'm not sure how long it will hook me. My main issue is how aggressive the lock on is. Makes it almost impossible to get on kill streaks because as soon as you run out to coll...
Did he just say swap out the female for a male who is a better driver than her!?
TRIGGGEREDDD
Looks like a lot of fun, and strange I'm seeing character and item shadows ... hmm
Rooftop races!? Oh boy I can't wait to try that car that drives up buildings. There is also mention of DNA orbs? I don't think they have talked about those at all.
No not a bad thing. Maybe a little cliche, but what isn't anymore? Also, are you suggesting Deacon, a tattoo'd up biker isn't an alpha male?
Well that is good! Getting more interested as this is coming up. Hopefully all the free after launch content is decent. Is rather get okay free content, then okay paid content like in Destiny.
