CD3 is a different kind of game then the ones you listed though. Its not amazing, but it's certainly not a bad game. Its just average since it doesn't bring anything new to the table.
Jump Force is giving it some competition tho haha
Im already half way through the game. If you liked CD1, you'll like CD3, and that's honestly all you need to know.
If you look at the games recently that have failed... they have all been from early in the gen cycle when things were going rough for them. SoT and CD3... these games were all long in development and the beginning and obviously had a rough go at it.
Ori 2 and Gears 5 are also coming this year so there is at least a light at the end of the 2019 tunnel for a couple good quality games
Well I don't like Fortnite at all, but these lawsuits are bogus.
Ori 2 and Gears 5 will hopefully end their year well though. CD3 is definitely not as good as it should have been :/
We know what the negativity is about. Let's be real here.
The only thing of interested I saw was a Platinum game and a remake.
Did anything think this would actually go through? You can't copyright a simple dance move... it has to be a full choreographed dance piece. Waving your arms from one side to the other doesn't count...
I'm not entirely disagreeing with you, but what game have they released on GamePass that is "MP MT's to suck your wallet dry."?
Sea of Thieves has no MT's, neither does State of Decay 2, Crackdown 3 or Forza Horizon 4... sooo yeahhhh
Every now and then you'll get a Stranger Things.
@rain
Well I spent an hour with it last night and it is certainly fun. Absolutely nothing that is going to blow you away, however. It essentially comes down to this:
Did you like Crackdown 1 and either wanted to play it again or want more? Play Crackdown 3.
If you played it and didn't like it, or liked it but it wasn't amazing... you can probably just skip this because it's not going to do anything new and exciting.
It's crackdown.. if you liked Crackdown 1, you're going to like this one. That's all you need to know.
The guy who has no interest in crackdown even if it scored well is in another crackdown article slinging mud? How predictable, and quite sad.
Read my dude. I said it's far too early to label GamePass... it hasn't even been a full year. It debuted with SoT...
What I'm saying if you actually read, is that GamePass shouldn't be held accountable for the failures of SoT, SoD2, and Crackdown 3 since those games were in development long before GP was a thing and would have likely sucked regardless.
This article is assuming that since these 3 games were meh, Xbox is just going tto be ok...
I just felt like the combat looked a bit too floaty. Have you played Blade and Sworcery? That combat is fantastic.
Looks very... I don't know... the combat didn't look impressive, I have seen much better in VR, but if the price is right I'll be grabbing it on my Oculus. I wasn't aware it was coming to PSVR though, that's good.
Edit: To clarify this post if you did not look into the actual article and just watched and read the trailer... the Oculus and HTC version is out Feb 21st and the PSVR version is sometime in May, no hard date announced though.
Okay so the game clearly doesn't interest you, even if it did review well... sooo why are you here? lol
The common thing with those 3 games is that they were in development long before GamePass was a thing, so you can't really blame GP on the quality of those games. if anything a service like GP saved these 3 games which would have otherwise died on arrival.
Horizon 4 is a prime example that they aren't looking to skimp out on quality just for GP, and the upcoming Ori 2 and Gears 5 this year look as top quality as ever. So, yes, 3 of the 4 MS games that have launched ...
Its okay to like average games, you don't need to only enjoy 8's and higher. I'm sure there are people out there who like Jump Force as well.
I enjoyed games like Knack and The Order despite them being very average games. They aren't going to make a top games list, but they were enjoyable for a bit.
