Besides Minecraft... Which they freaking own... what other game has MS tried to take control of making other people sign into their service?
They didn't extend the embargo. The date of the 11th was never confirmed from MS, it was some "insider" at Resetera.
@Pennywise
Regardless, still hardly a "megaton" type of announcement.
@Xexal
But... it's not a new Zelda game. It's just a remaster of an old one with a bad art design.
I'm kinda getting that idea also. Either that or a Switch port was already in the works and was a part of the acquisition agreement with MS. Either it's great because this game is fantastic and NT deserves all the sales.
Looks fantastic. Best announcement of the day.
So a remaster is a megaton announcement now?
I mean, I'm excited for this, not hot on the art style, but... megaton announcement?
I agree also, it makes the game look like plastic chibi toys.
uhhh not sure what that has to do with the quality of the game itself, but okay I guess... anyway you can throw shade at Xbox.
There is just so many possibilities with that game... I'm intimidated haha
Oh I did, love it. I was mainly joking anyway, because I was thinking about Days Gone, then TLoU2, then Death Stranding... and i was just like, damn, these are going to be some heavy hitting narrative games. I'm glad Dreams will be around
Indeed, I think Days Gone, Dreams, and then TLo2 or Death Stranding will be a great release schedule tbh.
And I don't think they should change. I was just expressing an opinion that Days Gone looks deep, and I'm somewhat more excited for Dreams because it will be a good middle game in between the Days Gone and the TLoU2 which both seem to be targeting a dark, emotional narrative.
I'm not downplaying anything, just saying I'm excited for Dreams a bit more because it will be a break from the story driven, emotional games. Like I said, I don't need to get up in my feelings for every game haha
So sad and brooding. Not that Days Gone doesn't look good, but I have to be honest... I'm more excited for Dreams because I feel like it'll be a nice break from all these dark, depressing, emotional games Sony has been pumping out. I don't need to tear up in every game, sony! haha
Honestly, I feel like we need more mid tier games, but I'd prefer if they'd at least be at mid tier prices
I wonder what portion of the review they messed up on or plagiarized.
I'd assume the MP side would be small anyway if the destruction calculations are done in the cloud and not pre-rendered.
That is... if things like that made a difference on file size. Either way, it's a manageable size. Them cell shaded visuals must keep the size nice and low.
That embargo date was apparently from some industry insider. There was no official confirmation from MS.
"ZhugeEX, who is an analyst at Niko Partners, has shared the Crackdown 3 review embargo date."
What about Forza Horizon 4? Ori 2? Gears 5? Halo Infinite?
What about the supposedly AAAA game in the works from The Initiative? You think Ninja Theory is going to lower their quality now also? I think it is far too early to be placing labels on GamePass and the future of it when Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2 and Crackdown 3 were long in development before this was implemented.
