When did they start that up?
um, what? Walmart is reviewing video games now?
@Spicelicka
Ah, gotcha. Yeah, just hire the people who are right for the job and who are Halo fans and want to see it succeed. Don't just hire rando's because they have a vagina.
Cortana has never been sexualized anyway so I doubt they will add clothing on her haha
Definitely hit up Ori and Cuphead as well if you haven't already done so.
I doubt any will be ready for 2019, but there will be a couple announced at E3. For instance they have confirmed we will be seeing Ninja Theories next game at E3, but I doubt it will also be launching this year. Likely a launch game for the new consoles in 2020. In fact, unless you're a massive Ori and Gears fan... there isn't a reason to buy the Xbox One in 2019 when likely the next Xbox will be out in 2020.
And even then it is HIGHLY likely that Ori 2 and Gears 5...
I'm glad the series was called God of War. It fits perfectly. Dark Odyssey is good as well, but for some reason I picture a space game. At the Hands of the Gods is the weakest name for sure.
I'm defensive because I'm being called "knob" and people are jumping on me thinking I'm trying to slyly dig at days gone. If I didn't like days gone, id just say so.
You can name them, I enjoyed CD3, I thought it was a fun game, but nothing at all that will turn heads... im assuming this is the game you are hinting at lol
I'm saying it SEEMS like a lot, but it isn't even that much for a cinematic story driven game. People above gave reference to GoW and RDR2 which are great examples. And I have never played the game, so yes, it seems like a decent balance. Maybe they could use MORE story, who knows.
I feel like I am talking to people in bizzaro land or something.
Wtf did I complain about? I said it seems like a decent balance for getting to tell a narrative driven story within an open world. Because a lot of time open world games don't even have that much in cutscenes. Then I further explained that its good to see they aren't sacrificing too much play time for story/ cutscenes... I feel like you guys are being entirely so defensive you're seeing my comment as some dig at days gone. Y'all need to calm the hell down lol
Yep, and I said that it's a decent balance. Not sure why everyone is getting their panties in a bunch about this.
Did I say that? Please point to where I said that. I swear some of you on here are dense.
Why? There has always been strong female roles in Halo. Unless they gender swap MC then there isn't much to be worried about.
I didn't "Yayyyy death to PUBG". Fortnite is just beyond insufferable and really not that great of a game. It was only popular because it catered to youth with pop culture and it was free.
That's not really the point though. The point is that for the performance, $500 (Possibly cheaper with a bundle or deal) for the Xbox One X is a good deal.
Lol I straight said it seems like a decent balance... how 'bout you stop being so defensive?
Why not both? They each fulfill different desires.
Okay so it's a 1/6 of total playtime, my mistake. Also, devs always over guess their gameplay times, but regardless, I did say it seems like a decent balance. They seem to want to tell a good cinematic narrative, but aren't sacrificing a ton of playtime to do so.
"they're still not really showing any real interest in software content."
I'd say the last 8 months disproves this comment handily. They bought up 6 new studios, expanding their current studios, and created an entirely new studio. If that don't show interest in software than I don't know what does. They are also still pushing great deals with GamePass and getting high quality recent releases on that service, and striving for more inclusion for Play...
Zelda is great, I put a 100 hours into it, but it certainly has a lot of issues in it. Out of most Zelda's I feel like it lacked a lot of what makes Zelda, Zelda.
