potentially 1/5 of the game is cutscenes. That seems a lot for an open world game, but also par for the course with the focus on cinematic narrative this game seems to be going for. Seems like a decent balance.
@kickspin
Lol you think being a "hardcore" gamer comes down to whether a game has "auto lock on" and "hack 'n slash"? How delusional are you. Plus, I'm not saying it's only 4K or graphics that make a "hardcore" gamer, all I meant was that there will be the expensive version for the enthusiasts... and enthusiasts are typically people in a hobby that are hardcore.
A hardcore gamer to ME is someone who play...
@Sampsonon
Well MS is still making consoles. Just last E3 they said they will continue to push hardware like they did with the X. So wouldn't the hardcore gamer be getting what they want out of that and the casual be getting a cheaper version that streams games either on the scarlet or on their phone?
Catering to both crowds doesn't cannibalize anyone. The hardcore gamer still has their powerful box that will push 4k graphics. While the casual op...
Well, Xbox is going to Xbox in Japan haha I'm surprised they were able to say "under 1000" and not under 100 copies.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Bayonetta 3 is all that interest me on this list.
Basically... previous engine was too old and complicated to keep moving forward with in the next gen. They wanted something easier and prettier for where they want to take the future of Halo... makes sense and I support this longer dev time for it.
This is something all devs need to do at some point, and more specifically Bethesda.
Fortnite in itself is based on copying other work. The only thing different they added was building. Otherwise every other feature of the game has been lifted from another BR title.
That didn't stop Republic Commando from being freaking amazing.
Well it would have Ori 2, Gears 5, and Tunic... but that is assuming these devs were given dev kits in enough time to develop on both... 2019 announcement with a 2020 release is much more reasonable.
By then Ninja Theories next game will likely be ready, Playground Games new IP should be ready. Also rumors that Halo infinite will launch on the next xbox... 2020 just makes more sense.
The Outer Worlds looks fantastic and I hope they're bringing another epic RPG to MS. I love Obsidian's games.
The only Pokemon I have ever tried was X/Y and I was extremely bored with it only 5 hours in. It was so easy and repetitive.
How this series is still going is beyond me. Every game is so similar, they are easy, boring, and repetitive and they release 2 games almost everytime... seriously.
I'm a pretty big TES fan, all the way back since Daggerfall, but I can't even deny that Bethesda has shaken my faith.
It was a side effect from a PATCH. So yes they were fixing things as well.
And you made an oopsie
I believe they confirmed on their Twitter it will all be new footage.
Gotcha, I think I may have just misinterpreted the point your were making.
Both companies hold these events. Sony did it with God of war, they did it for uncharted etc. etc. etc.
Days Gone doesn't need to earn or seek anyones respect, it just needs to be a good game. But being a good game means different things for different people. Being on a subscription means nothing and it's silly that you mention platform bias when the same thing can be said about Sony's games from fanboys.
Hell, even Crackdown 3 didn't get ...
Really looking forward to this one.
Yayyy death to fortnite!
