Ok gameplay is subjective, but graphically, no Halo doesn't beat Resistance. Halo doesn't beat many games at all in the graphics department for that matter. The only games it competes with visually are mediocre multiplats and 360 launch titles.

It's not worth $60. Oblivion, Fallout 3, and GTAIV have all shown what you get for 10-30 dollars worth of DLC, and they offer as much as ODST is offering for Halo 3. The new campaign and maps could have been added as DLC. Firefight is a mode that could have been patched into Halo's multiplayer for free, seeing as COD4 added new modes at no additional cost.

As far as BC goes, there's one big difference this time around. The PS2 is STILL here. After the PS2 was released the PS1 faded to black rather quickly (not xbox quick tho).
