Overall? Yes. The word of the day is polish. This is the most polished game, possibly in the history of gaming. There are countless devs out there that make their game, make sure it runs, make sure it's up to today's standards, then stop. These guys just did not stop. They took what they had, which was so far ahead of any competition out there anyway, and took it to a level that is rocking the foundations of the videogame world.

Either way, you're just weird if you do some stoic interview with the GOW devs. Notice how all these media outlets are just giddy about this game. It's refreshing. A bombass game is coming out, and these journalists are the only ones who've seen most of the game.

It's like he said, they drop the framerate to give the game a cinematic feel at certain points. Makes sense.

Nah I think you missed my point a little. The environments that use that engine are photorealistic (in some cases they look too clean to look real). Saying the environments look very good is like slapping all the crytek devs in the face with a used rubber. "Very good" just doesn't do it justice.
The character models in the game look good, real good. I'd say characters in this game are on par with the characters in Heavy Rain. The things is, tho the characters look...
Man, that's just sick. It's a shame the games they've used this engine on are so souless.

Nah, I wouldn't boo. I've never heard of these devs before, but I now have more respect for them than most devs out there. Why? They're not gonna make a game just to make it. If they want to make a game, they want to do it right instead of rushing a game to meet a deadline. If only valve could have taken a lesson from these guys.

You can downplay it all you want, but do you realize that there are games out there that use "scripted" CG scenes that don't even look half as good as this gameplay(DI). If it's not a big deal, present me with one, just one game on any other platform that you will stand by and say is in the same league as this game.
