GOW games have always been like zelda games(dungeons) where you're given an area, but you have explore that area to unlock your linear path out of that area...if that makes sense.

I think this is more of a testament to how messed up Call of Duty's gameplay system works. It's the only FPS that I can think of right now that makes the game easier for "skilled" players to win(aka killstreaks) and easier for "unskilled" players to lose.

What do you mean, "God of War III won't increase the install base?" It's the first new generation game in the God of War series, which means there are people who have held off buying a PS3 until the new God of War game has released. The same happened with other "firsts": Halo3, GTA4, MGS4, etc.
So here's the difference, Halo doesn't move systems anymore. It doesn't matter if Halo outsells GOWIII. Everyone that's a Halo fan, have already had multiple chances...
"Visually Impressive" is not just about the amount of polygons on the screen. As photorealistic as Crysis looks, its shamefully dated animation takes you out of that real world experience. UC2 is not photorealistic, but is more believable than Crysis. Same with KZ2.
KZ2 and UC2 can pass for movies. The same can't be said for Crysis.
The only thing that held the game back from being one of the best fps games in gaming history is it's rancid party system. Unfortunately, it's nearly impossible to play with a friend :/
Other than that, MW2 has nothing on this game.
I must be missing something. I've watched the vid in HD four times now, and I don't see how people are claiming a graphical victory over KZ2. I see better lighting and character models than Halo 3, but that's it. That new EVE game looks better than this, and even it isn't at KZ2 level.

There are two logical reasons to choose the 360 version if you own both consoles: you prefer the 360 controller or you prefer achievements. That's it.

I dunno what kind of spin you're trying to do, but the wii looks like crap on just about every HDTV over 40". 480i/p on any large TV looks like garbage.
Regardless, the people buying the wii aren't buying for visuals. They're buying it cuz the commercials have small adorable children and grandma in em.
Uhhh...no. It's a redesigned gamecube. When you port games from your last console to your current and there's no difference except for the fact that the controls for the previous console work better...your system ain't next gen.
The 360 is also going 3D next year. Natal is still full of fail(flail for those who support it) tho.
I didn't think it was gonna be the case, but I think I enjoy KZ2 more. I just don't get the same enjoyment out of MW2 compared to COD4.
With all the new perks and especially how the game revolves entirely around killstreaks, it feels like the mario kart of shooters. There's so much random sh1t going on, it sometimes feels like the game is playing for you now. Maybe I need to get a little deeper into the multiplayer, but for now I can definitely say I'm little disappointed in...
So true. This is the Nightshade of the DMC series: slightly more refined version of the original with female skin. What bugs me is that it's another storyless beat em up where at the end of the game you ask yourself, "What did I just do?"

1. I hate the word "droid." Try calling someone a droid in the real world and see how everyone looks at you.

As for blu ray, yeah, it does suck for 360 owners. Why? Cuz the people who are gonna buy this add on, are probably the same people who bought the HD-DVD add on. They will spend probably around $300 total just to wat...
1st: I don't think it'll come out in 2010, but if it does it'll be a holiday release.
2nd: Guerrilla spent most of those 4-5 years developing a brand new engine. They didn't have a cookie cutter engine(aka UE3) to go off of. So after the engine is in place, sequels are cake. Same reason why GT6 will not take 5 years to make.
3rd: Killzone 2 is a ballsy-ass game. I would even go on out on a limb, and say it's one of the few true hardcore FPSs out there. It's hard...
I can definitely see this happening, and it makes complete sense. Microsoft has always pushed DD, and how will they do it? Drop the hardware, sell xbox live. Honestly, the 360 itself doesn't add anything to the xbox gaming experience. Xbox Live IS the 360.
So ya, I don't even think there will be an xbox720. It'll just be xboxlive, natal, accessories, and you're good to go.
It's not really about being a fanboy or not. GTAIV simply got boring :/ There were fun things to do in that game, but the road to those fun things, was actually pretty dull and more of a hassle than it had to be. There's a reason it was the most played game online for about 2 weeks.
Infamous was legitimately just a fun game. Everything about it is fun. Going to do missions is fun. Doing the missions is fun. It's just a fun game. I can't think a single moment in the game ...
