I don't see how anyone could make the comparison yet since the only shots released are bad videos. From what I have seen though, I THINK the DS3 will be more powerful than the PS2. I assume it will be same quality as Gamecube.
I'm pretty sure Nintendo isn't even looking at Sony anymore as competition. They have their eyes directly on the IPHONE/Apple as their rival. PSP is last as far as market share goes. IPHONE is the one encroaching on Nintedos territory.
Considering its more powerful than the PSP, Displays in 3D, and boasts more features than the PSP or any Nintendo hand-held before it, I'd say its a lot different than the Gameboy/DS. Not to mention, it is backwards compatible. If the PSP 2 was coming out, I don't see you saying the same thing.
You don't have to buy it or like it for that matter. It's up to you what you choose to buy. At least give a better reason though.

If you listened closely to Sony they said, you get those things for as long as you subscribe to the service. So as soon as your subscription runs out, you lose those "free" games.
Im really truly starting to wonder if certain PS3 fans are creating Xbot accounts and trolling to keep up the passion of it all. I don't see any one serious person on this site who actually truly believes the ideas above. It just doesn't make sense.

Nintendo Rocked it. Sony was a close second because of the sheer amount of great games it showed. Microsoft....I just don't know what to say. The ball has been dropped by them.

I'm hoping for 199.99 and out around holidays but you are prob right. It will prob be priced at 249.99 and come out around fall of next year. :(
The graphics are similar if not the same as what the Wii offers which is similar to a gamecube/xbox original. For a hand-held, that is fantastic. What were you expecting? PS3 quality graphics on a portable?
Agreed. It's not over till its over but man, you have to admit, things looks pretty nice for Sony after the Microsoft conf but now....They will have to bring their A-game to top what Nintendo just did.
Won't have the support that Nintendo is able to provide. Sony has some great 1st party titles but they are all for PS3. Never really does much with the PSP.
Who isn't going to buy this. I mean really. You can pretty see the money being spit out of this tiny hand held of glory. The thing is just amazing. The graphics look amazing and its in 3d. True 3d without stupid glasses.

Nothing to wait for. Unless Sony announces that the PS3 wont require glasses for 3d... PSP2 is still out there though. Could be interesting. Man the 3DS games looked amazing. Backwards compatible too!
Nintendo has just won IMO. The 3ds by itself is the REAL definitive future of 3D gaming. Seriously F glasses.
The original 360 does this too......
I assume a lot of those titles turn into vapor ware with their tools/assets being distributed to other first party titles to help speed up development.
