I remember when people freaked out cause the PS2 was black.
It's not the downloading games that will become prevalent. It's the renting/borrowing games and copying them that will. This is how it was with the original xbox when it was modded. No one minds just popping the disk in the system and copying the game.
In response to the article, Sony releases firm ware updates for the PSP all the time. That hasn't stopped the hacked community at all. Because the hack is software updatable, just like with the PSP, there will be a...

He responds with further proof. Also shows him playing backed up copy of game.
Why does everyone have 5 bubbles now?
There are new videos that show it in action. This is looking more and more legit. All from a usb thumb drive. I wonder if Sony will disable to use of external drives because of this.
Because its done through software, I would imagine that like the PSP, any firmware update Sony launches to counter this would get a workaround shortly after.

That glitch was the developers fault. Not Microsoft. Same with this one.
Not defending per-say. I know for a fact (since I am a programmer by trade and am friends with a bunch of people in the industry - plus my wife is a game tester), just how many bugs are shipped in even the most high profile games. This isn't anything new. To get a game approved for print, there can't be any known bugs that crash the system, harm the system (delete/corrupt files), or break the game(oh, now it is literally impossible to finish this level).
Games ship wi...
I think part of that is there are so many people playing it, any glitch that would have gone unnoticed on another game is found with this one.
Just wait till you need another pair of glasses. Just one costs as much as 199.99
I'm in the same rut. I was convinced I was done with wow. Four months later, I have my account back up. I haven't been playing it much though....
ew, why get it on the PS3? MMOs belong on the PC.
Not much work needed really. In general, the saying goes, if it comes out on PC, its a very easy port to bring it to 360 as well since they are both using very very similar sdk.
I hope it fails simply because I don't want to wear the glasses. Now, I do hope that 3d gaming sticks around long enough for the non-glasses based systems. That will truly be when 3d gaming becomes a standard feature instead of a bullet point on the back of a game case.
His definition of trick isn't a horrible thing. Ai is all a trick. There is no REAL learning from the computer point of view yet. He is saying, Milo isn't going to actually learn. There are pre-determined paths but the amount of branching paths is massive do to the almost infinite customizations. He doesn't mean Kinect is a trick. He means the interaction is.
After letting the video finish, something really cool is revealed though. The DB mentioned is stored on a...
I don't want it. I don't want Move either though. Heck, I would be happy if Nintendo went back to classic controls. I'm tired of the gimmicks.
I wish that the events would unfold as so.
PS3 version of FFV: 13 comes out.
Half a year later, they decide to port to 360.
Work on port as total afterthought but still actually try to do it well.
See how close it is compared to already released PS3 version.
This way, no one can claim the 360 version gimped the PS3 version. Also, it gives the devs time to actually not half ass the port.
Be interested in how th...
Nice review. Here's to more honest journalism.
Now if only the updates weren't bandwidth capped for non PSN+ users. I would be a happy camper.
With the success of Read Dead, I seriously doubt they would go system exclusive. Also, if they were going to go single console, they would need a new engine otherwise, why only release on the one system their engine runs worst on?
Durring the IGN live blog, they posted a poll.
Which game are you more excited about. Infamous 2 beat out GT5. I think the amount of racing game fans to non racing game fans might be a little more skewed toward non racing game fans than most people here would like to believe.
