Can you read? just for your benefit I will post it again.

All in-engine, the cut scenes are better looking than the actual gameplay but they are still rendered IN ENGINE, not CG. Just like in Uncharted 2.

Obviously YOU can't tell the difference between in-game and CG...

That refers to the trailer at the bottom of each page in this article, that these screen-shots were taken from.
This game looks really interesting, the lack of a demo is putting me off though. I would like the chance to test it out before I spend my money on it, especially since it is a new IP. Might rent it to test it out.
Gordon Freeman's HEV suit isn't on the list! I would class that as armour. Why is it not on the list.
I think one of the reasons that shooters are so successful is their accessibility. Now I'm not saying all shooters are simple or easy (a few are, but that's beside the point), but the general mechanics are easier for people to grasp. Nearly all shooters on PS3 are, Fire-R1, reload-square; nearly all shooters on PC are LMB-fire, R-reload (by default). This makes them simpler to grasp as opposed to say RPG's or adventure games; which have heavily differing mechanics and controls bet...
If people bought the Potato sack just to unlock portal 2, rather than for the games it contained, it's their own damn fault. Valve never guaranteed early release, they said it was POSSIBLE if you completed the challenges.
I think your caps lock is broken...
Well I better not die today then, because I've only played Oblivion on this list.
My personal 3 would be:
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
Mass Effect(2)
Half Life 2 and Episodes
If they are to look close, then those graphics are extremely good for an open world console game.
However I hope (as a technical showcase) that they push PC hardware quite hard, while at the same time making in able to run on modest hardware. I'm hoping my Laptop can run this game, mainly for the great mods that Fallout and Oblivion have on PC.
Yeh Modern Warfare 2 was quite hard to play online, especially knowing which team air support belonged to. Usually I was playing with my (non-colourblind) friend, and I would just ask him "enemy or friend" for the air support. Thankfully there are a couple of devs who let you change colours of crosshairs, team colours and collectibles (puzzle games).
Actual "graphics" won't improve that much next gen. What will improve is lighting, physics, animations, gameplay capabilities, number of players/events happening at one time etc.
Things like L.A Noires facial animations and BF3's destruction will (hopefully) improve and become commonplace next-gen alongside things like 60fps, and 1080p standard.
Really of no interest to me, only 3 of my friends on Facebook actually have any interest in gaming anyway, If I want to discuss gaming I do it via PSN or Steam. I already disabled the trophy/store updates via Facebook when it was released.
However for those that want to use it, it is a nice feature to have.
I like the (rumored) power of the Wii 2, however I won't be making the leap unless they actually offer some good games, get support of multiplat devs, have a good online service and a good controller (not motion controls).
Unless they get that, I will be waiting for the new Xbox or Playstation for my next console.
You watch the next CoD will be "Call of Duty: Crash ops"
I wish Naughty Dog hadn't given up the rights to the franchise, a PS3 Crash Bandicoot game by them would be epic.
I agree, I would quite happily sacrifice visuals in order to get 64 players. As long as it doesn't look terrible then I'm not that bothered by graphics. However I wouldn't want them to sacrifice the destructibility, that was my favourite thing about BFBC2.
Some of these are quite good, but then some look more like concept art rather than box art.
My personal favourite http://www.1up.com/media/03...
Yeh but games, like Portal 2, that have a separate single-player and co-op campaign are great. Playing with friends on a good co-op game beats a competitive game any day for me.
my reaction- http://nooooooooooooooo.com...
the game looked interesting, kinda suspected it was cancelled though.
Keep believing that if you want, I can't tell you what to think. If you want to keep being a hateful and ignorant person then it's your own problem. I don't see how it makes any difference to you if somebody is gay, it is not related to being a pedo or a rapist, both of those are examples of violent and/or twisted sexual predators, rather than somebody who just happens to want to have a relationship with the member of the same sex. I feel sorry for you.
As long as it isn't delayed into November, that is one crowded month this year.
