Sure... blame video games when he is clearly a far-right extreme nationalist, political ideology never causes violence...
I keep saying that the only way to stop disc locked content is a law change. Well informed people boycotting games won't make a notable difference (but by all means carry on, it's a good thing to do) because for every 1 person that doesn't buy it, 10 uninformed people will. It needs to be illegal to lock any data on a disc for later sale.
However the result of this would be ripping content off the disc to sell later, which would have to be tackled afterwards, but ...
While metacritic user ratings are handy, you should really use a wide array of sources before you form a pre-concieved idea of any game. Play the demo (if possible), read reviews, look at user scores, watch gameplay; then from that decide whether you (and only you) will enjoy the game.
The user ratings are flawed anyway, because people don't have to own the game to rate it, which results in abundant trolling, and you see a lot of "I rated this game 0 becuase it doesn...
Modding, for me, is the best part of PC gaming, and what truly sets it apart from console gaming (not shiny graphics). Ever played a game on console thinking I wish they would change this, or add in this? That is why modding is awesome. Even better are entire games created by modding, hell some of the most popular PC games were originally mods.
I wouldn't object to ammo for mortars, if they actually made them worth using. They are terrible after the patch.
You make a good point, we should support game developers. However it isn't the aim (getting money from pre-owned sales) but the means that I don't like. I don't like being allowed to play the game on only one account, only having 4 more downloads before I have to re-buy the pass, and activation issues with the pass itself.
Pre-owned sales do not usually = new game sales. If people aren't sure how good the game will be, or only want to play part of the game, th...
Alan Wake, Left 4 Dead 1+2, Fable 2+3, Mass Effect, Super Meat Boy and I'm sure some others in that list are on PC too. As in NOT exclusive.
Then about half of the games actually exclusive to Xbox 360 are Kinect games, not games WITH Kinect, full-blown Kinect games. Alright for some, but how many people actually play those games often?
Xbox 360 has pretty much been left with Forza(at least 2 years until another sequel), Halo (not made by Bungie anymore), ...
Kinectimals - I can get Eyepet, if I even wanted a game like that.
Perfect Dark - Can play it on N64, or an emulator.
Splosion Man - Wtf...
Alan Wake - Will be on PC soon.
Kinect Sports - 1) Hate motion Controls 2) Sports Champions.
The Gunstringer - Hate motion controls
Dance Central 2 - Dance game... (wasn't there a Singstar Dance?)
Halo 4 - Interesting, not sure how it...
Heavy Metal, Arica Harbour, Port Valdez and Valparaiso would be my pick, but I mostly played Rush.
I don't care either way. The mod is there for people to download if they choose, choosing to use it is fine, just as choosing not to use it is fine. What I have a problem with is other people forcing their own morals on people over a petty thing such as a video game mod. If you don't like it shut-up and move on, if you like the mod don't moan at people that don't download it.
It is in-game! It is an in-engine cut-scene taken directly from the PS3. The difference between cut-scenes and gameplay in Naughty Dog games is tiny.
To everyone saying it is 'a typical zombie game', go and look at the background stuff that PlayStation Lifestyle pieced together.

Of course it isn't definitely what the game is about, but it fits together too well not to be.
If 38% of gamers are female, then there obviously is plenty of games 'geared' towards women. It's just that games they enjoy don't fit peoples sexist expectations of 'girly' things.
In games where I create a character I play myself, and therefore I play as a male character, for my first playthrough. After that I role-play other characters, including female ones. Especially in games like Mass Effect where the experiences is quite different.
In RPGs my first playthrough is usually based around my own morals, then I roleplay evil/perfectly good characters. So for the purpose of roleplay, killable kids would be better, but I can understand why Bethesda have left it out; it just doesn't seem right, even in games. If people feel they need the option they can still use mods though.
Again, all Uncharted's cutscenes are rendered in-engine, these screenshots aren't even as high a resolution as the games native resolution either.
All of Uncharted cutscenes are rendered in-engine, so it makes little difference if these are cutscenes or not.
I can deal with online passes for multiplayer, provided they have dedicated servers. However cutting story missions from a single player game to create an online pass is too far.
The used game market and piracy are the targets of this obviously, but it even disadvantages people buying it new.
-There are many people who don't have internet enabled consoles, due to problems with networking, or not having broadband available in their area. They miss out on 3...
While Mass Effect is undoubtedly about its single player, the co-op looks interesting. I've always wanted to play as other races in the Mass Effect universe and playing with my friends in our favourite series should be awesome.
However I have some reservations as well. Like nearly everybody else I'm worried that co-op could lower the quality of the single player, I'm also not keen on co-op affecting your single player campaign; I would prefer them to be separate s...
Agent was being developed by Rockstar North based in Edinburgh. However it's still possible that they went down to London or changed it to their London studio. I hope it's Agent, haven't heard much in a while.
