I feel a LOT better about Nintendo and the Wii U's chances after reading this article. Fils-Aime confirmed a LOT of the stuff that I had been saying since last Tuesday. It seems like Nintendo does know where they are going with this. I guess all we can do now is wait and see.

Spin doctoring aside from Nintendo, there is a reason to have both systems. Nintendo and Sony were both faced with a fork-in-the-road in terms of handheld gaming. 3D or HD? Nintendo choose 3D, Sony choose HD. If I had to made a early bet on who made the right choice I would say Sony as of right now, but it's not really fair to make a determination so early in the game.

3DS is good enough. I'd like to see a Sonic Adventure 3 built from the ground up on Wii U hardware. I'm one of the few people that enjoyed the Sonic Adventure series.

"Next-Gen Graphics?" The 3DS doesn't even do CURRENT-gen graphics. The best of what it has to offer that I have seen are graphics that are on-par or a little bit better than the Wii.
I don't know who approved that commercial, but if Nintendo is that delusional they are in big trouble.
