That makes sense to me.
i didn't know the Stunticons were in this. Cool!
NX may be a "system" and not just "A" console. The portable unit and home terminal may function congruently. People need to not get hung up on the so called "release schedule" of Nintendo. There is no reason why NX can't be released next year. Especially considering that the Wii U will somehow be absorbed into the NX system. Those who have Wii U don't need to feel left out or betrayed on their purchase if NX comes out next year. What does waiting on...
There has already been a middle-eastern fighting game character before. His name was Al' Rashid on the game Mace: The Dark Ages back in 1997
Is there any useful reason why this is even a thing? Seriously.....
Not a surprise. Take the time to polish the textures a bit, put online multiplayer in there. We've waited this long. A few more months won't hurt.
It does hurt them for the holiday season though.
I agree, but this is just some fanboy's speculations and opinions. Nothing official here. There is no reason for it to be weaker than the PS4 and XB1 unless it is going to use some type of cloud-computation to make up the difference which would be cheaper, but harder to execute because of bandwidth limitations and data caps in various broadband providers.
Still, there is absolutely ZERO advantage to making the console less powerful. The tech in the PS4 for instance is ...
Good stuff. This is definitely welcomed news.
This is what you get with x86 architecture folks. In a closed environment it just doesn't work. With a PC, you can always get a better CPU, better GPU, or add more RAM. With a console, what you see is what you get outside of minor adjustments with firmware updates.
People cried about how expensive the PS3 and XBOX 360 were using PPc architecture last-gen. Now people are crying about how "weak" the consoles are because Microsoft and Sony chose to go off-the-s...
I played Blast Corps and Killer Instinct Gold on there. BC was awesome and looked as good as it does on a EMU. Killer Instinct Gold was just a game never meant to be emulated. No EMU I have seen runs it smoothly, and for the Rae replay the control is terrible. Half-circle motions or quarter-circle motions are virtually impossible.
I was looking forward to playing some 'Team Elimination' on there but there is no way with those controls that would be any fun. I...
I'm gonna ignore all the sheeple that just regurgitate popular opinion rather than think and assess for themselves. When I first saw this at E3 2015 I was like "ehhh.....I don't about this. Looks pretty bland."
However, looking at the footage shown at GamesCon and now at PAX this game is starting to look a whole lot better. For me all I care about in a game in terms of technicality is if the frame rate is smooth, and the play mechanics are sound. You giv...
This whole thing is a straw-man argument because it is going on the assumption that because the Wii U does not have as much indie support as Sony and Microsoft, that it has little indie support. Which is preposterous. The Wii U has a ton of indie support and lots of exclusive indie games as well. It's not ever going to have as much or MORE than the XB1 and PS4 because the install base is smaller and Nintendo loyalists talk a big game when they complain about the lack of 3rd party suppo...
They would have been better off just junking what they had and starting off from scratch building from the ground up on x86 architecture so that it could have been at the very least a solid XB1/PS4/PC title and possible NX launch title.
Killer Instinct has always been about diversity in terms of characters and their origins so any suggestion is fair game when you think about it.
However, I would rather see ALL the characters from the KI universe back in the game before adding in more characters from other games. We got Kim Wu coming back. Gimme Tusk, Eyedol, and Gargos. After that do what you want.
Good point. People were salty that Bayonetta 2 was on the Wii U to start with.
I doubt that Yu Suzuki would pull a Slightly Mad Studios and troll PS4 owners into tossing coins for Shenmue 3 on the PS4 just to turn around and make it a mulitplat.
If Shenmue 3 does appear on anything else, it'll be later down the line after the PS4 and PC launch.
Impressive what you can do when you actually use the Wii U hardware the way it was designed to be used.
Take note 3rd parties. A small studio with literally 5 people did this.
That goes for any PPc-based CPU. x86 use CISC (Complex Instruction Set Computing) which pretty much gives you all the power at the word go with the least amount of work. PPc architecture uses RISC (Reduced Instruction Set Computing) which runs far more efficiently, generates more power on the back-end of the console's life-cycle, but is difficult to unlock the full potential.
The Wii U has 3 CPUs. A custom Tri-Core PowerPC750 built to run like a Power7, and Dual-Core A...
Actually they won't. This is the drawback to using x86 architecture over PPc. There is no option to get more power out of it later because x86 is designed to get all the power out at the beginning with the least amount of work possible. With a PC you can just buy a new GPU, a faster CPU, and add more RAM when you start hitting benchmarks. With a home console you don't have that option so all you can do is do your best to increase the efficiency of your hardware with firmware updat...
I'm sure those games will be mentioned but I would think the focus would be on the games releasing this year since we are just two weeks away from the Holiday rush.
