The digital foundry analysis found frame rate drops and stutters more scarce on the PS4 Pro however, so it's not a biggie anyway. Overall it runs smoother than base and don't forget it's outputting at 1440p with larger draw distances and some better effects. I just hope to god that Bethesda has built a surprise new engine for its future games.
That's awesome! That will make the game feel so much more open when driving. I wonder if they'd be doing in a boat mode, then you could ride seamlessly to altissia and even the empire continent if they add it as an open area in future.
I strongly disagree. That logic makes sense on PC as K&M are primary, but consoles are first and foremost a controller based platform. That's how they're sold, marketed and played.
Considering that to use a mouse and keyboard on console is adding a peripheral to give an advantage from the base platform, then it should be perfectly reasonable to provide a matchmaking filter to ensure you're competing on a level playing field as intended and designed for the ...

This could actually be a great idea! The first thing that came to mind was the Bioshock intro, where things start out okay, and then everything just goes south. Come to think of it Bioshock VR would have been an awesome game.

Underground and Carbon were more like the RPGs of racing, and for that reason we'll probably never get a sequel, because RPG generally means lots of customisation and content built into the game, which is like an oxymoron to associate with EA.

Probably my most disliked thing about the Xbox One is its UI, everything is too integrated and cluttered. The game page should be minimalistic. I don't like the PS UI for the same reason. In fact one of the promising things I've seen for the Nintendo Switch is its straightforward interface. I hope to see Sony and Microsoft copy that a bit in future.

Games will look great, it's far more powerful than the Xbox One, so the upgrade is very promising for anyone playing exclusively to that platform. It doesn't matter if it can't hit native 4k. It's going to show a huge difference either way.

No, because it's restrained by Xbox One. If Xbox Scorpio was the lowest common denominator, then yes. Next-gen won't be a simple resolution or FPS boost. It's both those things with far greater geometry, lighting and texture. (e.g. FFXV gameplay would have to look more like its pre-rendered cutscenes). 6T/flops is not enough, it needs to be closer to 16T/flops.
Perhaps Sony did not want one of their exclusives to be handed over to the opposition because of the deal and stayed out of it. I'm stoked for Spiderman, but have no idea what to expect from this partnership. For all we know their vision could be to do something like Overwatch lol. Maybe it's the lighting in those particular sequences that are emphasising the bad traits of her face? Plus people are comparing her character pictures with her model and public shots which women tend to have far more makeup on for. I'm sure they would have scanned her face in without any makeup which we didn't see. it doesn't seem like too big a deal though.
