Very underwhelming, could almost mistake it for an Xbox 360 title, the lighting system looked like hot garbage and made everything so bland and flat. I expected the visuals to be more like the opening of the video, just without Terry's Crews lol.
The destruction system is still there as stated on Microsoft's website, but it's limited to Multiplayer.
Actually pretty good for us Aussies considering it includes tax, the US conversion rate would put it at $663 excl tax. Including tax puts it at $730AUD.
Still has the advantage for multiplats in the console market. Hate PC gaming so it fits me perfectly. Pro for the exclusives, X for the multiplats. Boom.
Definitely a rough combination of a powerful console and poor lineup. $499 (that's excluding tax too) will probably end up being $699-$750 maybe even $799 AUD.
At least multi plats will look the best.
Dropping bombs, next week is going to be huuuuuuuuge.
Jesus, thought this game came and went already. I remember being hyped for it back in 2011-2012 I think. Has it really been that long?? I've finished school, went to uni and started working lol
Maybe Xbox Supreme?
If it's Boss Brainiac, he is cheap af, he has control of his ship with unblockable attacks.
Couldn't agree more, this feels like somewhat of an untapped market, because fighting games have always been designed as somewhat limited to the lone gamer. I haven't been this invested in a fighting game in my entire life. The RPG and multiverse elements are a huge reason for that.
So no gear that people paid cash for with the idea that it would carry across the franchise, or the hundreds of hours people invested into crafting their perfect classes. Bungie shafting the gaming community for an extra $. No doubt this is all in addition to the lack of creativity the game will carry, I guarantee 90% of all the weapons you come across/pay for will be reskinned/retitled versions of D1's.
Definitely looking sweet af, count on Rockstar to push the limits. Almost looks like Uncharted level graphics in an open world. Love little details like the NPC's leaving muddy footprints, wouldn't put it past Rockstar that the mud on those boots also stains the wood and carpet inside those buildings, and causes people to be disgruntled at you, causing a stand off haha.
Sounds so creepy and cool, seems like a great combination for action and horror with a feeling of 17/18th century lifestyle due to the cult's remoteness. I love games where everything is seemingly normal and grounded in reality but you start to realize things are "not quite right''. I thought of Bioshock Infinite and the Jonestown cult and mass suicide. I like the idea of typical action packed Far Cry during the day, and then Outlast 2 during the night. OT a little but if thi...
This is a grand statement about the state of Bungie and its intentions for its products to the gaming community. Nothing shown couldn't have been an expansion for Destiny 1. Everything is near identical, they've just hit reset on your characters so they can milk the same sucker drones that bought into the first one. I mean just look how drab and uncreative the logo is, like someone just slapped 2 next to the title. Yikes.
Should have had starfighter combat, characte...
I honestly expected a much greater visual leap than what we got in that trailer, especially considering that this is built from the ground up for PS4 and Xbox One. It was a bit messy though, so maybe once we see a proper developer walk through, it'll be easier to discern the visual improvements. At least there'll be Pro/Scorpio support.
I see, I think I just misunderstood or have forgotten what Microsoft and DF said exactly. I thought maybe something fundamental to Xbox programming would allow their own software and Scorpio's hardware to override FPS and resolution settings. I guess I stand corrected. At least you'll still have more raw power on the system for better performance. 1080p TVs can still receive better performance e.g 60fps, plus supersampling might reduce jaggies with games that have really bad aliasing....
That seems so tiny, but maybe I'm just used to 40GB installs lol. I wonder if the game will be long, size isn't proportional to game length, but makes me wonder why some games have 40-50GB installs, and others 6GB.
It pays off for some games but there's definitely false advertising going on, and not enough clarity about the enhancements games are receiving.
I wouldn't be surprised to see some sort of repercussions towards Sony for this, particularly because they've allowed developers to put "Pro Enhanced" labels on game cases (Prey) without the titles actually having the support.
Then there are some titles that Sony advertises directly on the...

Optimistically, late next year. It doesn't seem like English VA has been done yet either.
