The only people that trust any corporation are fanboys. Both have shown they can't be trusted yet there is a sea of people that will defend them no matter what they do.
Yeah but only one person could play it at any time. So it's actual worse than what we have today. I can buy one game and everyone I know can play the whole thing. While with the way the Sharing plan worked, only ten preselected people could share it at all.
There seems to be two definitions of fanboy. There is the fanboy that simply has the preferred platform, loves playing and will have fond memories of it in the future. I am one of these. I am a fanboy of my Nintendo 64, PS2 and 360.
Then there is the modern fanboy that we see these days, usually on sites like this one. Opting to rarely talk about the system they apparently like and instead sit at the computer all day waiting for the competitions news and articles just so they...
That is garbage. I have wanted the console war to end since it began, even as a 360 "fanboy" and back during the PS3 launch when Sony was the target of all the hate. It was still childish and retarded.
But Crimonstar is right. You are the one who has lost out. While all us mature gamers can play any game on any platform, you limit yourself to a select few titles because you want to worship a corporation that sees you as a wallet instead of passionately enjoying vid...
You can still buy points and redeem them on Live but they are converted to real money as soon as are redeemed. I assume they will change the money cards from stores to gift cards instead of Microsoft Point cards.
Killzone has always been an average shooter with awesome graphics. It looks a lot better than the last two.
I am still considering getting the PS4 for this.
Great news! Bodes well for me. This has pushed the date of purchase up for me.
I was thinking that myself about the comments. I wonder where all the fanboys are. I suppose in a few hours, if you check this again, it might be completely different.
*Typical Sony Fanboy statement*
And it won't matter because this entire website is a Sony fanboy haven. Look at his agrees. Look at his replies.
The people here are pathetic.
So we lose all the cool features because of a bunch of Sony fanboys that were not going to buy the console anyway?
Is that any different from sharing a physical version? Steve is playing your game, instead of having to drive all the way to his house to get it back, you can just log in and log him off. I would say this is one of the few good parts of the console.
You and Steve will be linked. Jill and Steve will not be. So if you are linked to them, both can play the same game.
Frankly, they should have just allowed everyone on your friends list to borrow your games in t...
PS3 didn't do this... Did you even read the article?
Abandoning gamers my arse.
Not necessarily. I think if they knew they were working on The Walking Dead, they would be under a lot of pressure and would change things to suit the show or comics.
It's great the way it is and I am looking forward to seeing their future progress. Hopefully more on this IP. AAA game with coop and that rumoured MMO they might be doing.
I think this game is awesome. It's like playing a role playing game of The Walking Dead :D
Of all the big AAA games that I have wasted my money on lately, this is a sight for sore eyes. It's fun, addictive and makes me want more arcade games to be made if they are going to be like this.
I love my console and It might just be me since I have the PC and the TV right beside each other and both are on at the same time but I don't really feel like I need all these PC like features in my console.
Like Internet browser just feels primitive compared to PC. And PC will always be master of indie games.
But what they should look into is allowing digital games to be cheaper, having more sales considering it's a paid service and allow us to down...
As I said, replicate Steam. I spend a lot of money on games offered by that service because the service is good.
It's a good thing I don't trade games in or buy used games but I can see why everyone is upset. The 24 hour check in should be changed in some way or form.
They stated that you can go completely digital with the console, they should have just done that. Cheaper games would solve this entire used game problem. They should have replicated Steam.
You are misunderstanding his tweet. The DRM was there to blur the line between physical and digital, without it, those original features are only available to digital content.
So by that tweet he meant that physical content will be played just like it is today while family sharing plan may return for Digital content.
