Gameplay by far. A story is no good if the game is too boring to get through. I play a lot of indie games with little to no story but really fun gameplay and they beat the heck out of most the recent AAA games.
Always online doesn't mean multiplayer.
It's foolish to imply real gamers won't buy the Xbox One. It has a good list of good games which is the reason I bought it first.
I don't buy my consoles for any other reason but games but am I not a real gamer because I didn't buy your console of choice?

You do have a point that PC gamers may have Steam open in the background while they do other things but you couldn't be more wrong about consoles.
PS3 became wildly popular with non gamers for it's Blu-Ray Player and Netflix has been used an awful lot on consoles. I believe there was an article a while ago that showed statistics that people were watching movies almost as much as they were playing games.

I would say that I prefer playing on consoles more than my PC but I can easily defend it for economics. I see a lot of console gamers claim it costs more than it really does and I see PC gamers spending as much as possible on it for no reason.

They shouldn't be in anything that we have to pay for out of principle alone. Free to Play games are the only games in which this is a viable concept as long as they are not following the Pay to win Model.

Hardly an excuse. I pay for Xbox Live and PSN, they don't have an excuse to take protecting my information lightly. Amazon only gets a cut of my purchases.
And that is besides the point. It's the LAW for these companies to protect our information and liking these companies is no excuse to give them a pass on things like this.

We shouldn't have to drive all the way to an ATM to take out money and go all the way to a store to buy a prepaid card just to insert a code to be able to pay for any service.
I use my card for everything. Not just shopping online but ordering take out or going to the store for a drink. I should be able to use it here.
I think it's absurd to tell people to just buy prepaid cards instead of demanding better security.

I don't think it's as Black and White as that. I was looking for a Gaming device more so than an Entertainment device and will be using my Xbox One as my primary console after trying both out.
I still can't play the game without it crashing EVERY single match. Fix that first.
The upper part of it feels a bit too hard to press in and it just feels awkward to press or hold in. I think it's something you would get used to but I just don't like it myself.
Always been a fan of the Xbox controller but the bumpers on the Xbox One controller really put me off.

Gears was 4v4 and it was fine. Your problem is that you are expecting this to be or play like a CoD clone.
Treat it like it is it's own game and not some CoD type game and you will enjoy it more.
