Outside of some of the casual stuff, he really hasnt been closely involved in games in a long time. Not since the N64 days, and you can really see a drop in quality in most of this stuff, mostly in the creativity department.
He had a lot of control over Prime 1, that was the most recent I know of, after that he's mostly on the business side for Nintendo, but did work on some of these casual games like Wii Music.

I agree with that. I think the reason why the old games had so much charm and this doesnt at all is Miyamoto is hardly involved in these games. He's much more on the business side. He said he had very little to do with this game, and it shows. It's kind of bland.
Way too similar to the DS game. I didnt think it was that good and its a solid (gamefly) rental, but I guess people will buy anything these days.
I have no idea why this site posts articles like this. This is quite possibly the dumbest thing ive read in years. First of all noone knows ANYTHING about the PS4. Secondly, we already know it will have better graphics. Doesnt every new console? Im convinced the person that wrote this article is 10 year old.
Im not sure I would say it was a failure. It's done the job for the PS3, but even with games like Uncharted 2, its just not nearly what they said it was.
The cell was developed 4 years ago, it's old technology now. Fact is you can buy a better proc for you PC for a reasonable price. It makes sense for them to move on.
Actually the fact that they stuck with 1 proc for this long is very unusual in this industry. New/better technologies are constantly being produced.

You must be new to gaming. Please allow me to school you with some common knowledge. All multiplatform games that were planned that way from the start are always made for the 360 first.
The 360 is in 7 million more homes, its kinda more important that games run well on it first and foremost. Same reason why last gen all were made for the PS2 first. It's always been this way. And the devs often talk about this at the GDC convention.
Bwahahahahaaa nice article. This game is awful. Just beat Act 3 this morning and it may very well be the worst FPS campaign ive played in 10 years. Multiplayer is the same crap ive been playing for years. All the reviews are based around hype that should have never been, because this game is pretty damn terrible.

Well its pretty damn far away from being the best story ever. In fact once you get to Borneo, I started losing interest. It's just not very compelling at all. By the end I didnt know what was going on anymore and didnt care either.
The story kind of sucks, and the gameplay is very unoriginal with gears shooting/cover, puzzles for 10 year olds and platforming that plays itself, but the game is still well put together and worth playing. Cant say its worth $60 though. The multiplayer is pretty lame.
Its a CoD game, its probably going to be yet another shooter, a pretty average one, and still get 9.5's. That's how it works.
Pretty weak for how high profile this game is. Halo 3 for example didnt get quite the same reviews, yet had 3 million PREORDERS. I know Halo is a much bigger franchise, but if they ever want Uncharted to become a AAA franchise then it just needs to be a lot more popular than it is.

10 hours for Uncharted 2 is a joke. It's a strong rental a best. Some tacked on standard issue Gears knockoff multiplayer doesnt change that. GTA4 took me 35 hours to beat, and its not even an RPG. 10 hours is pathetic.
Well if you've played Prologue, you would know it sucks with its lifeless physics. And you might want to take a look at the reviews of Forza 3, all of which are stellar. No doubt Forza 3 is better in almost every way than GT5, which is still basically just the same boring crap as every other GT game, just with better graphics. That franchise is a dinosaur, it wont last much longer.
Do you even follow videogames? There is no chance this game could outsell either the PS3 or 360 versions of MW2. He was backed into a corner in that interview which is why he said that, but Mario games cannot compete with Call of Duty.
