I agree. Would have been much nicer with some prerendered stuff.
Until you beat it 8 hours later then look around wondering what to do next, or wait 2 years for the next one.
I loved GoW as much as anyone, just bought the collection on the PS3 when I already had the original games, but I can tell you I enjoy playing the Halo games far more.
I spend 10 hours playing a GoW game, I spend 1000's on Halo.
Looks like GoW1/2 with better graphics. Ill still get it, but they need to figure out a way to make sequels more exciting. Do something different with the gameplay, like they always do with MGS, or Mario, or FF....
Im tired of this gen being all safe sequels with better graphics.
US isnt getting it because of the poor state of JRPGs in this country. Probably just isnt worth it to put it out here just because a few people might want it. I cant see it having very high sales here at all.

Because the differences are so minor, and some ppl actually prefer to use their 360 more for various reasons.

^ Best hack n slash ever? Hell no. A great hack n slash game, for sure. Just due to the combat alone, Ninja Gaiden is far better than GoW.
Thats exactly it. The 360 guys are playing their games, and PS3 is stuck playing Gears of War clones like Uncharted, which they're apparently already bored of. Doesnt say a lot for the quality of their games, seeing as how many of them are here, trying to trash the 360 no less due to insecurity.
Who the hell cares either way? Ive yet to see too many people that have played this game that thinks its very good. Ill just gamefly the PS3 version, not spending $60 on this pos.

Without Gears, you would not be playing Uncharted. It simply wouldnt exist as it does now. You cant even deny that.
Gears was not the first game to ever have a cover system, but it sure as hell popularized it on the consoles this gen, and has spawned many clones since. The proof is in the games out there, all the ones that came after Gears, including Uncharted. Good luck arguing against that.
Revolutionizing/popularizing the cover system on consoles this gen is more than you can say for 90%+ of all games that have come out this gen.
Most games either just suck, or are good, but not original at all. Very few influential games this gen, Gears being one of those at the top.
To say all its done is revolutionize the cover system is a little silly, considering how big of a deal thats proven to be this gen. Theres a good reason why Gears 1 has sold more than eve...
All I know is without Gears, Uncharted would not exist, and neither would MGS4 in the state its in, with Kojima being such a big gears fan and the changes he made to that game, and not for the better either. Worst MGS game ever.
Yeah, promoting games always results in fail. Sony sitting on their asses not doing anything at all should work out real well for them.

First of all KZ2 is garbage. Aside from having the sweetest lens flare ive ever seen, everything else is incredibly generic. I only gamefly'd that game and couldnt bother with getting more than halfway through it.
But I agree, this game looks like ODST, but I hope its nothing like it. I hated ODST.
I dont see how there is any chance of this game selling more on the PS3 than the 360 in america. You think about how many millions of more ppl that own PS3s than 360s in Japan, and they are still losing by over 7mil to Microsoft.
You do the math there and you realize the PS3 is failing hard in the US. Many millions of more 360s in homes here.
