Good luck outselling Halo Reach. Its just not happening. That game will probably have more preorders than total GT5 sales this year. You can bet on that one.
Forza 2 and 3 are both better than any GT game ive ever played, that includes Prologue and the PSN time trial demo.

Forza 3 is actually a really great racing sim. You clearly havent played it. Its better than any GT game thats ever come out. Try it and get back to me about that need for speed crap. Check the reviews, all extremely positive.
Looks great in the trailers, not so much in the PSN demo. If this game is as good as Forza 3 is ill be pretty surprised from what ive played of that GT5 demo.

Yeah you cannot put Uncharted 2 on that list, and not put Gears of War. U2 is a carbon copy of Gears in a different setting. Gears was a much bigger deal, and sold like 5x as many copies, and really helped kick off the 3PS cover gameplay this gen.
Uncharted 2, while still a great game, doesnt deserve to be on this list, especially if Gears isnt on it.
They will stay behind, the NPD numbers just release show that the 360 actually outsold the PS3 last month, and with a 6mil gap still between them, its literally impossible for them to ever catch up.
Who really cares? I thought the demo was weak, especially in the visuals department. The 2 main brains behind the 1st 2 games are gone, and you can really tell. The game is just so bland and lame. Another franchise being stretched too thin.
As long as its not as lame as PSN, Ill pay whatever the hell they want. If you can scrape up $50 a freaking year for a good service then you might want to play less videogames and go learn how to do something.
Its definitely not the most boring game Ive ever played, thats just silly, but I would probably say its the most boring game I played this year. I did spend like 10 hours on it but lost interest and sent it back to gamefly.
If anyone believe this will be anything over 40 hours, like every other game in the series, then they are very naive. We see this with every new RPG, and its 60 hours if you spend 20 of them walking around doing nothing.
Forza 3 is really fantastic. If you have any interest at all in a racing sim you cant do any better than this on the consoles right now. I'm sure GT5 will be good, its a day 1 purchase for me, but Forza 3 is amazing. Buy it.
The customization options are far beyond all the past GT games, not sure about GT5 but im pretty damn sure GT5 will not have anything close to the visual customization stuff in Forza at least.
The engine/body upgrades are likely very similar between the two. I grew up with GT but at this point im convinced Forza is just the better series at this point. There's just a lot more to it, the physics dont feel as stiff and lifeless as they do in Prologue and GT4.
This article is a total waste of time. Regardless of what IGN wants, the next generation of consoles will happen sooner than they'd like. The 360 has been out for like 4 years now, if anyone doesnt think MS is already hard at work on the next one they are very naive.
They're enjoying this headstart thing, it has enabled them to push the mighty Sony deep down in 3rd place, which is where they've remained this entire gen and will likely stay that way til the end.

GT5 will get obliterated in sales by Halo. You must be aware of that but dont want to believe it, which is your problem. But there's no bigger game this year than Halo.
