I heard they ran into licensing problems and that's why you can't watch your video content. Besides, it would only take a parent finding out their kid was watching porn with his friends on Home to squash that idea.
I was always hoping Sony would work out a deal so you could watch Netflix or VUDU with your friends in Home spaces.
I remember EA saying that MoH was going to be their first game to take a shot at CoD's market share, not outsell it. And no other publisher is trying to do that even today. Everyone keeps their shooters as far away from CoD as possible.
In my opinion, MoH was the better game compared to Black Ops. Well, at least the singleplayer was; the multiplayer was uninspiring but I still have it and dropped Black Ops a week after playing the campaign and spending a few hours on the ...
Well, everyone said there was no way MW2 was going to be outsold by Black Ops but it was.
What's happening is that the CoD brand is selling the games, not the content on the disc. Sooner or later for whatever reason, the next CoD won't sell as well as the previous one and if there is another option (Battlefield), it might get the chance to retake the throne.
I don't think it will happen this year, but EA having the superior game this year won'...
I wouldn't say it failed; it made enough to warrant a sequel.
My guess is $9 a month with early access to free map packs that everyone else will pay $15 for.
It's easier to build a system with cross game chat in mind then try to stuff it in years after the fact. I think Sony's next console will have it for sure, not that I'm dying for it.
Dead last but not that far away from MS which had a year headstart with no competition. And while MS has 1 yearly franchise and 1 every other year (or they did when Gears is done), Sony has multiple franchises released every other year (Uncharted, Resistance, Killzone, Infamous, maybe God of War) and even more studios working on new IPs.
He also states that it's the fault of PS+ that he didn't get to play the UC3 beta before it went public.
Umm, what?
I work at a place that offers a rewards program for a subscription fee.
Attack dogs with strapped on explosives? Really? I get the feeling that if any other FPS did this, it would get mocked without mercy.
I give up and I loved CoD before BlackOps. Now, it's just a parody of itself.
Don't knock it until you try it...
Which Robin is this supposed to be? Dick Grayson, Tim Drake, Jason Todd?
Jaffe responded on what they are trying to improve:

Bungie has made more than Halo; I actually enjoyed Oni on PS2 a lot. However, Halo was a huge hit, they made tons of money, spent the last decade making it and Bungie fans couldn't be happier.
Naughty Dog has a history of creating and maintaining a franchise then moving on to a new one, like they've done since the PS1 days and there's nothing wrong with that. They are in the unique position to make whatever they want(unlike say, Infinity Ward).
Na...
What about the studios that make ONLY one franchise for years? Like Bungie and Infinity Ward? Their fans must really be pissed...
You should get into the beta regardless of whether you still have the game. A friend of mine traded his in for Black Ops after a month and he still got a beta confirmation a week ago.
@wallis It's my experience that people trade in games to get the next one that they want, regardless of how good the game was. When you're done with it, you're done with it. Games themselves don't burn out; people lose interest and want a new one kind of like cars.
Developers could care less what you do with the game after you bought it in a store or online. Set it on fire, if you want. The issue is people buy used copies to save a buck and, the dev not only s...
Cars depreciate as soon as you take them off the lot. If people were buying cars, selling them to a third party after a week and that party made as much (if not more seeing as it's pure profit) on the car than the manufacturer, you can bet the auto industry would be highly upset.
Activision does not suffer from used CoD game sales. Why? Because enough people buy the game new. Those millions that buy the game bought it in a store (or online).
The companies that need every sale they can get are small developers whose next game may be their last if it underperforms.
I buy my games new too and if there is a game I don't want to pay $60 for, I'll wait until the price goes down.
I've played CoD since the first Modern Warfare and, while the sales have gotten bigger, the games have gotten worse. Activision has gotten lazy and greedy.
Four $15 map packs for Black Ops? Outrageous.
The same game engine reskinned for 4 years? Just sad.
It's the biggest game every year but there is little to no innovation between titles and this will be the year I say "No more". It's already sandwiched between Uncharted 3 and ...
