Crazy... game is too ugly to pay monthly for, not to mention it looks like nothing but your stats increasing vs enemies' stats increasing.
Challenge NEEDS to take the form of layered characters, peel away their layers and their tactics change, dynamic based on your strength, their strength, numbers, all that, no more simple AI DEVS!!! Get to work!
Well we all know Naughty Dog is a generation ahead of the consoles they are working on currently anyway.
Save it... for when Microsoft RE-reverses its policies AFTER they sell ten million consoles.
It had better! Same with PS4... don't know what excuse CoD Ghosts has right now..
On a side note, anyone notice the particle effects with the Bloaters in The Last of Us??
Freaking amazing
Been done... now a dog with death and killstreaks.
Sharks with frickin lasers attached to their heads.
Can dogs carry knives?
Yeah I didn't even know if what I was seeing was the next gen version or what... blurry textures made me think otherwise so IDK really...
Not to mention the atrocious fire effects... flat... don't know if there was a single "particle" floating around out there.
Played him on CoD a few times... camps... a LOT and loses a lot so it's no wonder he's anti-fun.
In reality though... I don't play CoD these days... not since BF3.
Or
Slam her sum
Would also work
Really does depend...
Many like to take "sides" with a company no matter what, but it comes down to what were the intentions.
In this case, what was the reasoning/motivation behind the change, which determines whether the efforts are commendable or simply self-interested.
Yes EVERY company has a bottom line they need to tend to, but there is such a thing as customer relations and perception that has a less tangible value/worth to ta...
Yeah holy crackers... if anything they should include a disclaimer with COD preparing people for the online community there, but I really think some sort of player rating system would go a long way to fashioning a community where "like-rated" persons can interact and play together without much chance of running into total a$$holes 24/7. Though dividing one's gameplay community can have its own consequences especially concerning online arenas.
Easy, make a game where the player is crippled, amputated legs...
Walking anywhere without the use of your legs is difficult.
(no offense intended to anyone afflicted with any such infirmity)
Of course the way she mentions those sort of Vignette moments in various characters lives sounds mostly like Heavy Rain and stuff, so she should go work for Quantic, though there's plenty of room in that "genre" for another dev to do their ...
I'd still like to see something akin to that ORIGINAL Resident Evil 4 concept, close quarters, confined, not necessarily a mansion! but eerie and spooky. Have lots of things around you that can be "contextual" interactions, but smooth next gen ones not freaking quick time events. Uncharted 3 may be a lot of things, but it did this seemlessly with using environmental "melee," and Sleeping Dogs did this pretty well.
Gore and violent/freaky stuff a must. ...
Nice helmet :)
Agreed. Definitely think there is STILL a way to make internet play free as an option, but for me, with what Plus has been offering, I would have bought it anyway...
When I found out Plus rolled over to PS4 launch and beyond I signed up again and got like three great games back to back which already essentially paid for it (not counting the little games, ones I don't care for or any of the other advantages), Hitman, Max Payne, Uncharted 3... INSANE!
Anoth...
Yeah Japan for Micro really is a dud market, but for me day one isn't really that important so long as "day 2" isn't like months or years away, of course I am in the US so... no worries here.
Which is doubly pathetic considering they have had greeting cards which can speak to you for decades now...
What's Halflife? I think my great grandpa used to play those games...
Looks like a slightly more refined and polished COD, knee sliding isn't exactly new to games and addition of the customization options (which should be in almost every game this gen without excuse, all the hardware is there) is commendable.
Nothing revolutionary by any means.
And I REALLY hope none of the footage shown was for any upcoming console, or god forbid the PC version. Horrible textures still, crazy.
Very good idea, though I'd really only do it if the PS4 was coming out like six months from now or something, I can wait a couple months to play those games even if some release sooner on PS3 and other platforms.
