What, for free?! Better pay up, this is remastered after all... :)
This may be going too far, but the price-point in and of ITSELF, to some degree, indicates a game that one might rightly expect to be on par, in areas that are comparable, to other games of the same price.
As we know, this is not the case, save in the eyes of a very deluded few.
Entitled or not, I think the controversy is focused primarily on how far he stretched the truth about his product, his game. I bought it and am totally accepting of my decision to purchase, I never looked into the details of the game in the first place, so I took that risk from the beginning. That being said, if they guy's credibility is subject to question, then it should take its course, for the sake of that publisher/developer's consumer base, for their business', for a number ...
You, I expect, are not in the survey, therefore you do no exist and do not play games.
Just got homefront for discount, definitely a 5 and under
Man hands...
I think they can be again. But the thing that will revitalize them is innovation, not that Titanfall is particularly innovative, but they didn't do a terrible job adding some "new" components to the mix. Something on the level of Horizon: Zero Dawn in terms of unique style and setting, with the clever and thoughtful design employed by Kojima and someone like Natughy Dog.
Something with lots of dynamism and customization.. hard to lose with that combo.
I think they decided to forgo the UHD to keep price down to 400. The incentive for Blu-ray to be incorporated in PS3 was two-fold, it was beneficial and it was a superior format that, having won-out over HDDVD, we all benefit from today. This gen, Blu-ray is already the standard and so if you want to watch movies, you can easily pick up a UHD player and they always come out with dirt cheap optical players in rather short order. I WISH it were incorporated in PRO, but I can see why they didn...
Over 20 years of gaming experience, I will tell everyone how to USE this game:
First off, there's the developer's opinion about their own game, how to play it, there are the reviewers and their opinion, whether, or not they take into account the devs' opinion, comparisons to other "similar" games and so on. Then there is the hype bubble, which inevitably always pops to the dissatisfaction of all in most cases. But the most important point of view invol...
It's all up to those devs to manage those features... optimization per platform. I'd like to know how much this game actually cost. I'm not thinking too large a figure.
I would love to play this on Neo, or the very least its sequel. I think had Sony been gone all in to help out these devs it would have see a good visual/graphics improvement as far as tech goes. The pop-in and such. Otherwise I love the base game, a sequel could expand so much on all the potential here.
Do it... Once and for all, eliminate the use of shoulder buttons in UI, simple d-pad, a "selection" button and "back/previous menu" button. God, battlefield always using those damn shoulders...
Um, wiki...
Microsoft will not be paying anywhere near the "off-the-shelf" price for any of those components. Just readjust all your numbers to take this into account. Slash at LEAST half off all those numbers I'd say, if not more, if you want to make a decent guestimated/extrapolation here.
Please actually do this in your reply, I'd like to see what it comes out to as I think your general choices for achieving the visual results would probably hold true. Just re-crun...
When is this supposed to release? I feel as though I've been seeing this "lovely new screenshots" line for... years...
Variety in getting around, over, through obstacles could have been... well, more varied. I agree on that. I believe, for comparison, Lara Croft last game I played had a fair bit of variety, even if eventually it became repetitive there also.
I payed full because of my severe Star Wars Content Drought Syndrome... otherwise I wouldn't have...
Open-world STALKER style DO IT!
I wouldn't call UC4 a disappointment and certainly not due to what was accomplished with TLOU, but I could definitely say my preferences have shifted toward TLOU in terms of game play styles, even the universe I find more appealing. I never was much for the whole treasure-hunting thing to begin with.
Please let there be wall-running and power sliding, please let there be wall-running and power sliding!!!
