All I can say is if I have to use a controller the size of half an Ipad to play with next gen, I'll be upgrading to a gaming PC..
I don't know, a video I was watching (of which version I can't say) there were so many blurry textures. The megatexture stuff sounds great, virtually limitless unique texturing it seems. But sucks if they can't maintain their resolution a close scrutiny.
Much better looking than Fallout though.
"Undercut!" Ha, Mass Effect 2 is still 60.00 dollars when you can get it on Amazon for 40.00 for PS3, freaking FIFTEEN dollars (14.85 actually) as a CONVENIENT digital download for PC... convenience, give me a break..
Sony needs to price match Amazon or Steam on PSN!
SHV wasn't good, hope they've remedied the issues in this release. I think they just need more funding, really.
Dont' own a 360, but will players have the option to install the whole game? I thought they did.
Really? I had no idea. They won? What did they win? What did it get its customers? Way I see it, Nintendo made money, customers got standard definition. They weren't competing for the same market.
Just like Sony and Microsoft aren't competing with the ultra high-end PC market.
So it took Nintendo one extra generation to make it into HD... hooray for the tortoise! And he finally crosses the finish line.
And here I thought I'd be able to play using my toes... like using some kind of toe-roller, someday, someday.
Question: Do games that utilize the Kinect peripheral generally rely on the device completely for input, or have there been any games that combine regular controller and Kinect gestures together?
Like control most stuff with the hand held controller and then use occasional arm waves for say, throwing grenades or melee, or as perhaps in Mass Effect 3 a "power."
Thanks
I got an install error on LBP, corrupted data. Deleted, redowloading (hope this does it). What an amazingly small size though, 2000 something mb, tiny.
"Wiser" decisions in the future? From a business model perspective, where profit is the number one priority, they judged the consumer and determined quite correctly that they are perfectly willing to spend their money on faulty tech, outdated/cheaper to manufacture tech. Not to mention unnecessary propriety hardware... (I cringe just thinking about it) and paid subscription-based online..
It's worked out well enough for MS, although it's the consumer who get...
Crap! That's like the Heavy Rain VR glasses or whatever... transposing digital objects or data into a real environment.... effin crazy. Just need to have a glasses attachment/peripheral.

Firstly, it's "you're," or "you are," not "your" in this instance. Not to worry, it's a common mistake amongst the mentally defunct. And the plural of "story" would in fact be spelled "stories" not "story's." You are confusing possession with plurality. Another common error.
Right, as if all I'm doing is pointing out obvious spelling errors on websites...

Wow, somebody didn't reread their work... Two errors in the first paragraph alone. Proofread, proofread, proofread!
Yep
360 = texture win over PS3, sucky devs
Just played Homefront online for the first time a few hours ago before PSN took another dive, no lag there...
Horendous lag online and ridiculous texture loading issues and they launch a game in such conduition... sell.
I, apart from this, will not speak of the offline mode refered to as single player in this game.
Well in Microsoft's defense one could argue that they were simply eliminating or shutting down potential competitors under the guise of these overly expensive and highly publicised commercial acquisitions in order to appear less monopolostic, if that's a word. As if comitting murder on camera and then smiling and waving to the audience made it any less of a crime, only in this instance it does. It's likely there was no real intention for their many acquisitions to succeed, though ...
