on topic, i'm really on the fence on buying this game. i hear good and i hear bad. i see good and i see bad. i really don't want a cluster**** kind of game and it looks like fat princess has a lot of chaotic mosh pits all the time. is this game worth buying?
if those are in-game, i'll probably freak out.
but i think this might be the best single player experience EVER!!! i have never heard of a game that has a story that revolves around your actions and not dictated by a predetermined story. the only other game that i think that can possibly challenge this game story wise is maybe the last guardian.
there's no denying it, sony just has a magical touch when it comes to their exclusives.
man please tell me this redesign is significant like the dashboard to the nxe. i don't mind the XMB still being in use for in game usage or even as an option, but i honestly wouldn't mind a new xmb. update it and make it look special or something. that nxe is like a breath of fresh air when you go from the dashboard to the nxe. i'm hoping this update will be big enough for my satisfaction because i'm really hoping for a big aesthetic change.

awesome update. the biggest things i wanted was a redesigned xmb/psn (honestly the only reason why i think xbl is slightly better because of aeshetics), better set up, new avatar and notificitaions, and best of all; the battery life no longer blocks the clock!!!

i agree, stallworth's incident was twice as bad as vick's yet he didn't even get half the sentence vick got.
i think part of it has to do is that stallworth was under the influence and once he realized what he had done, he immediately owned up to his responsibilities so therefore his punishment wasn't as harsh. i guess someone who's under the influence isn't knocked down for their actions as much just like if a mental person were to kill someone, they could plea insanity.

graphics upgrade is definitely there. i wasn't expecting such a difference. i like how the characters actually look more realistic now because the first uncharted seemed to have rubbery-looking faces on the people. looking great, can't wait to try that multiplayer demo. i didn't think much of it at first, but if it's willing to be on the PSN for a demo, it must be something special.

no disrespect HHG, but you guys are too lenient on rating your games. you seem to think every game is amazing and i just don't buy that. splinter might've had better controls compared to MGS, MGS2, and MGS3; but i think MGS4's controls and gameplay are damn near perfect. now they just need to make the online better.

lame list. even though i like PSN's exclusives more, i think the marketplace is overall better than the psn.
more games, more demos (why doesn't sony allow demos for the freaking psone classics or more for PSN games?), and my personal favorite XBL arcade. ikaruga, metal slug, alien hominid, duke nukem 3d, geometry wars (love stardust, but i still think geometry wars is the best), n+, soul calibur, space invaders extreme, robotron, smash tv, super contra, tron, xevious, banjo ...
the game just to needs to be more user accessible, user friendly (menus can be annoying sometimes), and keep things simple while still leaving the game's difficulty in tact. other than that, i can say that i've enjoyed BC1 a lot more than COD4 and COD5 but the COD games are still great in their own way.
